This little boy, Godwin Chijindu Ikeobi, a JSS1 student of Government College, Owerri, surprised me today. Today he won first place in the Junior Category at the Mathematical Association of Nigeria (MAN) Imo State Chapter Olympiad exam. He failed to qualify for the final round from Imo State for the 2026 South East Maths Olympiad and has been crying and depressed. He attends a government school and felt he was disadvantaged. He was one of the reasons I deployed learning content for all participants in the 2027 South East Maths Olympiad for education equality. He took the lessons seriously and has been studying them on his own daily. Today he has proven that your background cannot limit you if you are determined to succeed. He beat all the private and public schools in Imo State today to attain that position. What a star!

Before all these happen naturally, Nigerians must have already killed themselves in a tribal conflict or a religious conflict.

JNIM ARRIVES IN ZAMFARA STATE Since Tuesday, 16 June, JNIM fighters have reportedly been in Gyalange village under Gummi Local Government Area of Zamfara State. According to residents, when the group arrived, it introduced itself, stated its purpose, and has continued to stay in the village without attacking anyone, though some residents have relocated to the local government headquarters out of fear. A day after they arrived in the village, a man known as a serial sexual violator of young boys was caught for approaching a little boy, who reported him to his father. The JNIM fighters took the man, assembled the community members, who testified to his reputation. JNIM then asked if anyone had theological justification for sparing his life, but no one answered. They asked the village head if he could provide any verse in the Koran to spare the man, saying if anyone could justify freeing him based on the Koran, they would. No one had any justification. So, the man was shot dead. There are no soldiers or vigilantes in Gyalange, and the fighters are moving freely without harassing anyone. Five months earlier, Lakurawa had sent a letter to the community before its fighters arrived. As soon as Lakurawa reached the community, they immediately started extracting zakat from the people. In contrast, JNIM has not demanded anything YET from the residents.

I wish the Gen Z and millennial generations would understand what is happening in this country. Someone stole 210 trillion naira from the NNPC.
