TO ALL REPUBLICAN POLITICIANS: If you reiterated Trump’s calls to “just move on”… we will not vote for you. If you tried to distract us away from the Epstein files with talk of “but look at all the good things Trump has done”… we will not vote for you. If you sat idly by and said nothing, without using whatever platform you had to call for full justice, transparency and accountability of the rich & powerful who preyed on vulnerable, innocent children… we will not vote for you. Understand this is not about politics, this is not about putting one party in power versus another. This is much bigger than all of that. This is about adhering to our most deep seated moral code and conscience. We will not vote for anyone who participates in covering for child r@pists. We will not vote for anyone who remained silent in the face of such vile injustices, you are complicit and as guilty as the perpetrators and those actively covering it up. We know we don’t have to just choose between Republicans or Democrats, we can choose neither. We may not be voting for Democrats but, for the sake of our consciences, we will not vote for those of you participating in this coverup either. REPOST so each & every one of them sees this!

More people need to understand that wildfires mean BIG $$$ for state and county governments. This is why you typically only see federal lands mitigated. No wildfires means no federal funds for local governments, so mitigation is not in their best interests. THIS is the sad, and downright evil, reality of it all. Our state and local governments would rather sacrifice our homes and properties to fill their coffers, than spend any meaningful amount of money to protect us.

Went to the mountains in Colorado to touch rocks and grass over the weekend and saw massive work that was done for fire mitigation. This was Bureau of Land Management Forest, @BLMNational which is why the work actually got done. Colorado State officials wouldn’t have done a damn thing. Thank you for keeping the forests managed. Live in CO and it’s not secure! Just in my city alone that has elections every two years, during the last two election cycles both of our underaged teenage sons received ballots in the mail the same year they got their driving permits, along with many of their friends. The state “claims” this is to pre-register them for voting for when they turn of age but that’s already been proven false.
