@sarauberti91781 @buffer Hey Sara! Operations Role hiring manager here. 👋 Thanks so much for flagging that your personal website has a section that's custom-built for us, wow! In that case we'll absolutely check it out. :)

Hey @buffer!
I have a question ❓
Do you always check personal websites (when provided) in applications?
I have a surprise for you there!! sgubm.github.io

Overhead press
142.5 lbs. 1x3
Struggled to keep my elbows in today (I constantly have to fight the flare out), but glad I got up 3 reps. This ties my previous PR for 3 reps at this weight. I will call it a win.
Still have Dropkick Murphys pumping in the background - I found a nice little nostalgic groove this week. I discovered that familiar music pumps me up more than unfamiliar “pump you up” music.

@david_luhr @buffer Same, I have been really enjoying a break from the usual PST reality of meetings all morning!
English

@buffer This comes at quite a cost: not only do I lose my most productive hours, but meetings, especially information-sharing meetings, leave me feeling quite drained.
In contrast, pairing is energizing, and I've already had much more productive mornings with deep work.
English

This week at @buffer we're running an experiment: no meetings.
Instead of meetings, we're leaning into long-form asynchronous communication, coupled with pairing sessions as needed.

I am hiring an NYC-based Social Media Manager/Creator.
The job is to get paid to:
- attend free workout classes/fitness events around the city
- live a generally Instagramable wellness lifestyle
- build your personal social following
- make friends with other wellnessy/fitness folks
We'll pay like $85K+, equity, full benefits, free workout classes/gym memberships and budgets to do cool wellness stuff.
The job is to basically live the the life of NYC fitness/wellness influencer, but you get stability, funding, and benefits.
I thought we'd be flooded with good candidates. Not really the case yet. Who should I talk to about this role?

@1Password Some members of our team are running into issues with "revealing" passwords; they have the same permissions as other teammates who do not have the problem. Any insights into what may be causing the snag? Thank you!

(One more delicious quote from one of my favorite authors!)
"Don’t be strategic or coy. Strategic and coy are for jackasses. Be brave. Be authentic. Practice saying the word “love” to the people you love so when it matters the most to say it, you will." @cherylstrayed
English

"I know it’s a kick in the pants to hear that the problem is you, but it’s also fucking fantastic. You are, after all, the only person you can change." @cherylstrayed

@hailleymari My biggest takeaway with this journey has been to approach my walkingpad time less as "walking" and more as "not sitting." I walk slowly enough to be able to comfortably read/type/speak. (But for watching recordings, it can be fun to do a proper walk at a normal pace! :))

@danielkempe I see an S, only. Knowing there are two, maybe an X?

We shipped custom emoji on @trycampsite. To celebrate, I remade my favorite blob in Figma, sticker-style.

@lkonsko Oooh I've heard diverticulitis is so rough, I'm sorry. 🤗

@dosberg Congratulations!! I was just (again) reflecting on how valuable HeyTaco has been for us to center and practice our Gratitude value every day. It's such a valuable part of our culture. Thank you!

Happy 8th birthday HeyTaco! 🎉
Eight years ago today, I was struggling at my job. I didn't feel appreciated, my morale was at an all-time low, and I had lost my sense of belonging. The conversations surrounding me were negative, and I hungered for some positivity.
So I came up with a crazy idea to fix it—TACOS!
By sharing gratitude with tacos, my days improved. I became happier, and my team began to thrive.
I'm not a psychologist, but it turns out an attitude of gratitude has the power to transform not only one person but also an entire organization.
Thank you to the thousands of people who have believed in and invested in the power of gratitude!
To Una for doing amazing things like bringing in the incredible taco cake, Jeffrey for supporting my mission from the beginning, and James for listening to my fireside taco stories of the past— thank you!
