The Amazon Pay ICICI Credit Card is one of the very few cards whose core reward rates have remained largely untouched. 5% unlimited cashback for Amazon Prime members and 3% for non-Prime members still continues, while many other cards have introduced cashback caps after devaluations. Yes, a few MCC exclusions have been added over time, but apart from that, not much has changed. @credofly HDFC Millenia is a best option! 5% on 20K spends on most used ecommerce 1% on 1L on most of the other spends, excluding fuel. 1000 voucher on 1L spend in quarter.

We need a simple credit card. 1% miles or statement credit on all spends. No exclusions. Maximum reward capped at a threshold linked to salary or ITR. Target audience: regular people, not experts. Annual fee: ₹500 or ₹1,000.

Just tried to book an Indane gas cylinder refill on their website. Got this message saying my last cylinder was delivered on 25 Feb and I can't order again till late March. Except I haven't ordered a new cylinder since early 2025! Then I discovered clear fraud!

Last week, There is a furore over a claim settlement issue with a top insurer. Someone made a video on how he struggled with claim settlement. We tried to reach out to the person, But haven't received any positive response. Its very easy to make a video and criticise the health insurance ecosystem, It gives u massive reach. Given the episode was viral, Too many people reached out to us, Concerned about the problem, and whether they should continue in their policies or not. So let us share our honest opinion with you, Things pointed out in the video:- Documents were shared yet the insurer said they didn't receive the documents. Why does the insurer need nursing papers and other documents from the doctor? The agent didnt help much, So here are the real facts:- Health insurance is a complex subject, People must understand that claim settlement undergoes various checks, and there is a huge scope for misunderstanding/insurer short settling the claim 1) The agent must at 100% of the times help you, especially in claims. In this case, what we have understood is that the agent didnt support in times of claims! Time and again, we have advised, 1) dont buy online 2) At the same time, buy through a good agent who understands claim support If ur claim is cashless and all the proper documents are done properly by the insurer(less than 10% case) You will have a smooth process even if you don't havean agent/or ur agent doesn't do claim support The real problem arises when ur claim is short settled or ur claim is entirely rejected, If you dont have a good agent to support you with good reach, Then you will have a massive problem, Please always have an experienced agent assist you through the claims process. That's how the industry is and you must find your way through that Dont keep looking for a lollipop of discounts through the agent, Look for experience in settling claims, Claims is all that matters when u buy insurance 2) Why did the insurer ask for Nursing and doctor papers? Here, the patient must understand The insurer has the right to the inpatient treatment records. The insurer will check the daily health parameters and the treatment given to the patient, The insurer was right to ask for these documents, and they must be swiftly provided to ensure smooth claim settlement 3)So, is there a problem with the insurance companies? There is a lot of mistrust b/w people and the insurers, Sometimes, Insurers are not transparent and need to be pulled up, Sometimes people make mistakes and dont share documents properly, But it is up to the industry to make sure how they can make the customer claims experience smoother and better, At Hercules Insurance Advisors, We want to clean up the industry and make the claims experience smoother, At every meeting with the insurance companies, We have a secular agenda, "How can we make the customer claims experience smoother?" We are the first ones to admit, Many gaps exist within the agents and, more importantly, within the insurers, But a start has been made to improve the industry, We did reach out to the said person to help with our contacts within the insurer, But we didn't receive any response, We try to help as many people as we can with fair claim settlement. We receive 100s of requests to help with rejected or short claim settlements. We try to help as much as possible, The industry has problems, But it is vital to the financial stability of the country, 100,000Lakh crore of claims were paid last year, And this number will only move up, As we keep saying:- Health insurance is not a luxury, But it is a necessity, But at the same time, the industry must improve massively to improve the customer claim experience! P.S.Just wrote this so that people can relax about the industry, The real situation isnt as bad as the drama in some videos! Anyone who faces tough times in claim settlement can reach us for help! All the three cards - the EasyShop Platinum Debit Card, the much-hyped Rewards Debit Card, and even the Millennia Debit Card - are still crediting reward points (as cashback) exactly the way they should. A lot of folks got the same this morning and have confirmed it. In fact, the recent redemptions have also started reflecting now, which clears up the concern. Like I mentioned earlier, this was nothing more than a backend delay. I’d seen the same a few months back, so I wasn’t really worried. Let the cashback era continue! 🔥 #MuftKe24K

There are rumours that both, the HDFC EasyShop Platinum and the much-hyped HDFC Rewards Debit Cards aren’t crediting reward points (as cashback) the way they should, with noticeable delays. Even the recent redemptions are not reflecting which is adding on to the concern as well. Honestly, this isn’t new. HDFC has a pattern of these delays, and I’ve personally seen the same a few months back. It typically comes down to a backend delay. Nothing to worry about unless there’s an official communication from their end. Hoping it clears out soon. 🤞🏻
