@rossiadam 100% People who love DST work indoors from 8-5 pm and want to have light for the few hours they’re home People who get up early and spend a lot of time outdoors in nature before 5 pm want it dark at night so they can go to bed early and rise with the sun and light

@sircalebhammer It's also how people feel. Things like groceries and rent/mortgage are getting more expensive. Along with health care. It feels like it's harder and harder to live a middle class life. All while the rich get richer.

Middle class is shrinking… news we’ve heard for a long time… but what they don’t say (doom and gloom pays the bills for the news) is that Americans are simply getting richer. Doesn’t take away from the fact that cost of housing has increased more. Chart is inflation adjusted.

@sircalebhammer Places like México have public transit that is used widely by the public. I feel like its an American thing where we value individualism above so many other things. We can have public transit its more a matter of USAs car dependence.

The removal of Elite Wild Cards looks good at first, but since extra cards from Level 16 now turn into Crystals (a cosmetic currency), progression gets slower. Before, having more Level 14–15 cards made maxing faster because rewards compounded exponentially.

What makes me most angry is that there's nothing Americans "get" from destroying USAID in a way that directly results in the death of the world's poorest children. It barely even qualifies as an act of selfishness. We're doing it for nothing. The debt picture is completely unchanged. Being an insanely rich country that controls its own currency means we have a genuinely magical ability to save hundreds of thousands of lives around the world with a budgetary rounding error. And MAGA's like: "No thanks, it sounds woke."

I'm disappointed with @Rivian. My 12v batteries died after 3.5 years. Which is fine. It's a very common and easy repair to perform. However - Rivian won't sell me a 12v battery to install myself. And they say if I buy anything off the shelf it could void my warranty. The kicker? Rivian charges $775.04 dollars to replace the two 12v batteries. (That's what I paid for my first car and it came with a 12v battery.) I could snap my Cybertuck in half and @Tesla would give me a manual on how to glue it back together. But Rivian won't even let me replace a 12v battery on my own. 🤯 I don't like being extorted for consumables. Let me maintain my own truck.
