You cannot go anyhwere in the US anymore without feeling taking advantage of. Every restaurant, every lease agreement, every purchase. Everything is so blatantly predatory. Like they don't even care to be subtle about the fact that they're operating in bad faith. And we're all just submissive to it

ok so apparently they do still make dumb tvs, theyre just sold as "commercial" or "business" TVs










My dad laughed when I began collecting vinyl records 20 years ago. He didn’t understand why I wanted an inferior, expensive, dated media format—one he was glad to have ditched. Now I’m that way seeing kids using old iPods. Makes no sense. They’re worse than phones in every way.



I'm fascinated with Massachusetts' economy bc its so weird. And there's been some interesting chatter here about the problems (housing, biotech leaving, VC trouble). Was very interested to read a long, deeply reported story about the big picture bostonmagazine.com/news/2026/03/2…








Massachusetts is a great place to live with some absolutely incredible people. All of its problems are solvable.
