@0xIlyy @tomtooticus You just type like normal in the terminal and Claude does the work. Where’s the larp? What do you need short cuts to do? Backslash too hard for you?

Remarkable how 3yo and 6yo become immediately and completely unneeding of parental attention the moment they arrive in a large mixed age group of 30 children Much parenting and childcare is done on hard mode (indoors, few children)

@littleapostate @DukeHerndon What’s creepy about being sexually attracted to a post puberty woman that is in the prime of her reproductive window? Be explicit.

@DukeHerndon It might not work on twitter, which is full of creeps. It does work in real life, where normal people find it really fucking weird when old men lust after high school girls

@TCK_JRubano @bennpeifert Did you get paid to repost this jokers thread? This is a terrible look for you. The fact that you’re an academic and going to get up in front of college students to talk about risk management as well…

An excellent summary of events at the QVR fund by @bennpeifert. It is extraordinarily rare to get this depth of insight into the operations of a modern financial firm, highly recommended reading for those interested in the space.

Good morning my loves, happy Saturday. Sorry I've been quiet, obviously been busy, but thought it'd be nice to give you all the details on the multi-strategy absolute return program that experienced the 28% drawdown this year. (1/n)

@BowTiedYukon This happened to me when I was 8. First homer ever. Didn’t touch home bc I jumped into coaches arms. Coach on the other team did what you did. I don’t remember what the result of the game was but I do know I hated that guy and still think he’s a dick.

Top of the 6th tie game. Kid crushes a HR off my pitcher. Kid’s pumped & celebrating running around the bases & misses 3rd on the way home for a big celebration with his team I go out to the home plate ump “He never touched 3rd”. Ump says “You can appeal coach” Tell my pitcher throw the ball to 3rd and my 3rd baseman to step on 3rd They do “OUT! Batter did not step on 3rd base” I’ve never heard a little league baseball field get so quite Taking a HR away from a 10 year old does not feel good if you’re wondering

@ScottPh77711570 You’re literally a scammer criminal. No shit he’s your friend. You are either 1) too stupid to realize it or 2) have respect for a fellow scummy scammer. Your “endorsement” might as well be a guilty plea for the guy.

Seen it many times. Large allocator meets strong talent. Allocator demands imprudent strategy 'enhancements'. Talent accommodates. 'Enhancements' undermine the core strategy / operation. Partnership fails. Everyone is unhappy. Looking forward to @bennpeifert 's epic comeback.

Craziest part to me is Tech fans thinking that Sark said Texas would beat Tech with their twos and threes. He did not say that. He said he could beat their schedule with his twos and threes. And when you actually look at the schedule, Tech could maybe do that, too. That’s the point he’s making.
On3@On3

NEW: Steve Sarkisian took a shot at Texas Tech while discussing how the College Football Playoff Committee factors strength of schedule👀 “There's a team in our state that plays in another conference that has a schedule that I would argue if I played with our twos and our threes, we could go undefeated, and they'll probably make the CFP this year.” (via @AnwarRichardson) on3.com/college/texas-…

> be OpenAI > watch Andrej karpathy join Anthropic yesterday > shows up 24 hours later > announce your model solved an 80-year-old Erdős problem (problem stood since 1946) > mathematicians had been stuck on it since 1946 > people spent decades believing one approach was correct > model finds a completely different answer first AI to autonomously solve a major open math problem this might actually be ASI.
OpenAI@OpenAI

Today, we share a breakthrough on the planar unit distance problem, a famous open question first posed by Paul Erdős in 1946. For nearly 80 years, mathematicians believed the best possible solutions looked roughly like square grids. An OpenAI model has now disproved that belief, discovering an entirely new family of constructions that performs better. This marks the first time AI has autonomously solved a prominent open problem central to a field of mathematics.
