Looks match and life stage matter because attraction built on a huge imbalance usually comes with leverage.
When a man is trying to get a woman far outside his own league, he usually has to compensate for the gap with money or status signaling. Then he wants to act shocked when the relationship feels transactional or claim all women are *gold diggers.*

Women don’t prefer sub 10% bf; they prefer about 15-18% (which is still great shape just not as lean as most guys think they need to get).
The issue here is size and how women prefer larger men. (Sexual dimorphism).
