Maybe they did yet they were killed, maimed, and had their homes/neighborhoods razed to the ground regardless of their opinions/actions. Collective punishment of innocents is immoral, illegal, and the most anti-Western civilization policy imaginable. The Geneva Conventions were ratified to explicitly prevent the collective punishment of innocents after the wholesale destruction and slaughter wrought by WW2. It is impossible for all 2 million Gazans to be responsible for the terrorist attack and it is reprehensible to treat all 2 million of them as terrorists deserving of death and dismemberment and domicide.
