You get charged monthly for fark all. You're all used to forking out monthly subs for owning nothing. There is stuff out there worth using and supporting which doesn't even require money. Blender being one. You can do a LOT with it. Might need some workarounds but it's doable.

@3wojis It's seriously the only way I can stay on social media. Either I block someone who regularly just posts bs someone I follow likes, or if check what's trending and I want to avoid the worst commentary, I block. Would make things unbearable otherwise.

@retrogaminggeek It was an amazing time. I can still find an equal amount of enjoyment playing games from this time compared to playing new stuff, so sadly gameplay hasn't really evolved as much, at least not in the past 15-20 years.

The 90's was a wonderful decade to witness firsthand as a gamer. We went from 8-bit sprites on the NES to the slick 3D worlds on the Dreamcast, all in just ten years. We'll likely never see a leap that massive again, it was an exhilarating ride. 🎮🕹️ #RetroGaming #90s

I've now finished Metroid Prime 4. Convinced gamers have become joyless whiners. Great game, not without its flaws, but that goes for all Prime games. Some things I've read people complain about are such nitpicks it makes you wonder if they can enjoy any game without a tantrum.

@3wojis Just meant with stuff like the acolyte etc, it's been tough being a fan of these franchises. Sadly being a fan of anything sci fi is rough, with stuff getting cancelled or turning out shite.

Being a Trek fan, I have to say that we've been kicked in the guts a few times but this new academy show makes me feel like they gave absolutely zero shits and are trying to rip out our guts this time right down to yellowish piss filter it appears to have. Back to TNG it is then.

I have to say that it can be hard to watch youtube now with all that eh-aye schlop. I have zero respect for stuff you could churn out all day long with zero effort. I've made youtube videos before so that's another reason I have zero respect for that eh-aye shlop. Not watching.

Just saw a list of Alien movies from best to worse. Curious, what's similar list do you have of Predator movies? This is of course knowing that we all put the first Predator movie at the very top, right? Lol

Finally got around to playing Prime 4. Enjoying it thus far and think most of the negative critique it's gotten has been exaggerated.

Played Ion Fury a while back, and had a pretty good time with it, although it was a buggy mess at times. Decided to play more boomer shooters, so started playing Dusk. I have to say, I don't get it at all. Very boring in my opinion and almost looks deliberately crap at times. 😬
