Ethanol producers have urged the govt to increase ethanol blending from E20 to E30. A country of selfish, opportunistic, greedy people. Except for maybe a few BMWs, no vehicle in the country is designed to run on E30. Logic says the govt should bluntly tell the ethanol lobby to shut up and stay in their lane, but since we’ve already seen them push E20 without phasing out non-E20 vehicles, I won’t be surprised if they start considering the E30 demand.

Recently I visited Hampi (Karnataka). A few observations from a first time visitor POV -People out there really talk in highly encrypted language. Zero chance of understanding what other people are talking about. -Hampi is all about architecture and history. -Every tourist spot shut down at 6 pm. Basically no nightlife -Regarding food, being purely vegetarian is tough. Most of the cafe serve both veg and non veg together. Last, South Indian food tastes better in North India.

@whizkidd There are a few examples of pathetic concrete NH roads in Karnataka as well...Hassan Mangalore is one such strech..some are even inside Bangalore..

I would love to see concrete road lovers on Twitter defend this shit. Whenever I say "India makes horrible concrete roads", they point to a handful of good examples from some areas in defence. They ignore the fact that there exists 1000s of kms of concrete roads in India that have absolutely horrible surfaces. Even the new ones are shit. What's worse? They cost 3x more to build compared to smoother asphalt. The only point they can hold on to is "but but they last longer" Arey bhaad me gaya last longer. What's even the point of a longer lasting road that offers bone jarring rides? An its not as if they deliver on that promise either. I have seen "long lasting" PQC roads develop potholes in less than a year. Come back to me when we start making excellent quality PQC roads across the country. I will prefer asphalt/bitumen until then. Also, thank you for your attention to this matter.

@sahana_srik If the state Govt solves traffic via public transport, that's cutting their road tax & fuel tax revenue by a big big margin..they will solve it just enough..almost name sake..or if it causes too much of an issue..

What kills me is that ORR has so many buses. So many. If they were only allowed to move at a normal speed during rush hours. Priority lanes in prime time, will change the economic face of ORR and city.
