@KellyClinger This would only happen if closed your accounts. If you paid them off and kept the account your score would have increased. You need to learn the credit score game.

Can we start a movement to end the use of credit scores? I paid my credit cards off & my score dropped by over 200 points. Which means I have no debt but because my credit score is in the toilet I can’t qualify for anything. Credit scores are a joke. Oh & one of the credit cards I paid off kept increasing their interest rate. When I paid it off the interest rate was 44%. That should be ILLEGAL. Why is America so dang backwards??

@Stallion2011 @Betsycashmoney When I paid for six different streaming platforms I should not have to have an antenna but it's looking like they're so screwed up that I may just dump all of them and use an antenna only approach.

So just to clarify... this is the first Game 7 the Pistons have played in over 20yrs, and most of the city can't even watch the game because the channel is blacked out on Xfinity due to a carrier dispute?!?! Am I understanding this correctly?!?

Streaming is one of the many rip-offs of our time. Pistons are on FUBO, Spectrum cable, Direct TV, YouTube TV, and ABC antenna OTA. Im so tired of the nickle and diming, and trying to figure out what platform I bookmarked a certain movie. Amazon Prime is the worst. Subtitles didnt match the audio (like 10 seconds off). Garbage service.

My credit score dropped when I paid off my car and student loans. Credit agencies said I should get more loans to increase my credit score. The system punishes you for not owing them money. They want you to be in debt. Credit scoring is a scam.

@Microsoft updated my home edition of Outlook 365. Installed the stripped down new version on my laptop. Hour on the phone with Microsoft and every time the rep toggled the button off to return to the Classic version, a pop-up survey appeared with two buttons at the bottom - Skip and submit. The @ Microsoft rep had to put something in the form to skip it. EVERY TINE. People have lost their minds and have no idea what they're doing anymore. So many ads pop ups and demands for just another couple of cents have totally ruined business.

Got an IRS notice in the mail. Says I owe a penalty for a form I e-filed already. > AI bot picks up phone > IRS: "Here are three options, which one do you want?" > Me: "None, can I talk to a person" > IRS: "Thank you for calling the IRS, goodbye" Hangs up. Absolutely insane.

So I got fiber internet hooked up on Monday. Completely blown away with it. No longer need my @Xfinity service, because the fiber is much faster and is less expensive (I got a static IP address as well which is amazing). Call to disconnect service on Tuesday (24 hours after verifying that the new stuff is working great). Get an agent at a call center probably in India. Fifteen mins of back and forth getting him to agree to cancel... I mean, this should have been easy, I don't even rent any equipment from them. Says it's canceled will see a final invoice for $5 for the pro-rated part of the billing cycle. Get an email today that there's a $115 bill due later in May for the current period. Hmmmm.... Log into Xfinity app... sure doesn't look canceled. Call in again, get a different call center agent in the 3rd world. INSISTS on going through the entire disconnect questionnaire again. No. Just no. Get frustrated, hang up on the 3rd world idiot, drive 20 mins over to the local Xfinity retail store, where Americans are. They explain the guy dated the service disconnect to the end of the billing cycle instead of when I called, probably to "help his metrics" and they have it all taken care if in a few minutes. What I want to know now is when big corporations like Xfinity eventually outsource these call center jobs to AI is the AI also going to be incentivized to lie to customers in order to extract more money from their bank accounts? The executives who create these policies that make it hard for you to turn a service off know what they are doing.

No. He was ruthless and anti-union. He was good for the company but not the people. According to GROK, he had a Sociology Department: To receive the full $5 daily wage, workers had to meet standards set by Ford's "Sociology Department," which inspected their homes and personal lives to ensure they were "worthy" (e.g., avoiding alcohol, gambling, or keeping a clean home).

@OrevaZSN That was the genius of Henry Ford. Selfishly (but what actually benefited workers), he raised the wages of his workers so that they were actually able to buy his cars We need more Henry Ford types

I do not understand what billionaires think the final outcome of all this is. If nobody has a living wage, they cannot buy your products, pay for your services, or rent the properties being owned and hoarded. At that point, does the whole thing not just collapse?

@LongTimeHistory @ICEgov @DHSgov @SenateGOP are deporting 10 year olds without their parents to a country they’ve never been to, alone. This is who we are now. Deporting children. Alone. To a third country. No wonder the world hates us.

ICE take 10 year old boy to court to deport him—all alone without even a lawyer. He urinated on himself and wet all his clothing—no one offered him a change for many hours. "I was scared because it was my first time in court," he said. Separated from his mom for 4 months now after she was detained during a traffic stop. Wilfredo and his mother are originally from Venezuela with a pending asylum case. ICE is now trying to deport him alone without legal representation to Ecuador—a country he's never been to and does not know a single person. He is temporarily staying with his mom's former boss in Houston, Texas.

You should not be able to vote if you’re: - under 25 - over 65 - a billionaire - homeless - on welfare - take more in from taxes than they pay in taxes - plus all the other ones we already have in place 🤷🏻‍♂️ yay or nay?
