My self-awareness is sharper and everything feels connected. I genuinely believe AI does not replace humans. It amplifies us. Huge respect to our engineers and designers who made this crazy thing real. Bubbles are the episodic units of my life that the system interprets from my raw data. Clouds are the system’s questions, its hypotheses about who I am. When I answer a cloud, it becomes a bubble again. There is so much personal data that I cannot fully demo it. Wish I could. Been chatting with my wife about an issue I want to solve, but am a bit stumped -- so thought I would ask the question here, and maybe get some ideas: We both work full-time, and have two young kids at home. Our nanny leaves at 5pm, and then I get home a bit after that. We play with the kids for about an hour (while my wife makes them dinner), have dinner, and then we each give one of them a bath, and help put them to bed. By then it's around 7pm, we're both completely exhausted. We would like nothing more than to enjoy some downtime the rest of the night after a long day, but the work is just beginning. The kitchen and dining areas are now a mess from dinner, the dishes need to be done, and food needs to be prepared for the kids for the next day. By the time all of it is done, it's after 9pm, we are beyond exhausted, and the day is essentially over. We have a cleaner that comes to the house twice a week, but of course wraps up well before 6pm. What do other people do to solve this issue? How do you win back your free time after the kids go do bed, without leaving a mess overnight and ensuring they have food ready for the next day?

@chamath Nothing beats trading the 4 year crypto cycle. Buy anything that is beta to BTC. Dollar cost average buy the bottom and dollar cost average sell the top. Barring that, one could do something like what Robinhood is doing with their chat style portfolio builder.

Financial Model Challenge Can someone please build a portfolio simulation model. Where a person can interrogate a good fine tuned model with structured questions about portfolio construction and risk simulation. Here are a few questions from myself and folks in my “Learn With Me” group chat: 1. What would adding Mag7 for an additional 10% on top of the S&P index add wrt alpha and beta? 2. How many stocks in the S&P500 less the Mag7 have seen material stock appreciation since 10y UST exceeded 3.5%? Segregate these stocks into sector and rank by ROIC. 3. Do a random walk and determine the optimal mix between large cap and small cap indices that would have maximized risk adjusted returns since rates started rising in early 2022. What about if volatility can be unbounded? These questions aren’t meant to be definitive but illustrate questions that are still difficult to ask a general purpose LLM today but would have a lot of value. The robo-advisors would do well to integrate such a model to help inform portfolio construction for investors. I would allocate a good portion of my capital to strategies informed by such a model if I could validate it was reliable. If Medicare funded off-brand GLP-1’s for everyone 40+, that line item would shrink. America has a massive metabolic problem that can be solved with diet/glp-1, weightlifting/walking and quality sleep. Also, the medical devices and joint replacement industries are BOTH massive cash cows.
