Everyone was in it for the vision, the core crypto principles, smart and passionate devs were all over the place. Wasted..

@soorajs Lot of the best Sui devs outside of ML are leaving for greener pastures. The ones still around are also looking outside. I agree the EVM is ugly as fuck. Sui has an issue with developer culture though, feels like Sui is betting heavily on web2 Devs coming in. Will it really work?

I am fundamentally bearish on the EVM, regardless of whatever tricks and hacks they use to patch a system that is fundamentally broken. That is one of the reasons I believe Monad will fail like most other EVM copies. The entire project is still built around preserving compatibility with an architecture that was never designed for where this industry is going. It is a dead end.

The community was the real achievement, trying to shake out the rest of the good people is honorable. I do think the people left now are lost though

@Picolas_Caged In my field we use AI as a tool to do even more work.. I think it will replace roles that are purely office based and 100% on a computer.. but in other roles like engineering you still need a person to look over the work and sign off on the designs, do site testing, etc.

So massively true I still see people mocking AI when I can do their job with 10 prompts.

Before I go to sleep I just wanna say I hate @SuiNetwork everything they and @Mysten_Labs promote just die. So many amazing projects were built all for SUI and what did Mysten and the foundation do? They pushed all of them away. Except for WAL, DEEP, and anything stable coin wash trading related. All of the activity is literally add and remove LP 24/7 every second to farm incentives from boosted pools on cetus, bf, etc. Which obviously is actually bad for those venues because their incentives get drained every week. Oh, and not to mention the Cetus hack and the magical rollback of the chain -- if they didn't roll back the chain, SUI would already be at zero. Then we have @BlueMove_OA ... ohhhh bluemove... ya know, you really should fix the way your pools interact with a certain price oracle. And the fact that BlueMove has been discreetly removing liquidity from *locked* LPs and selling tokens in microqtys (I have your wallets). Luckily, you were removed by @blockvisionhq however Mysten/the foundation has no word on this matter. It's literally a ghost chain and the foundation wants nothing to do with any of your projects unless they involve stablecoins, DEEP, or WAL. Why? Because SUI network is so inefficient. The only thing that chain is good for is MEV, arbitrage, and sending stablecoins for free. Maybe someone will cook something fire with deepbook one day because it is an onchain OB which I love but retail doesn't even understand what that means. Oh man that felt so damn good you have no idea. I have been cooking for two years straight for this disgusting chain and I never want to touch it with a ten foot pole from here on out other than to literally MEV anyone placing any trade on that chain just MEV them to oblivion. If you think for one second that I'm just crashing out and this is not rational you actually should go on the sui network and go build something instead of having an opinion. 😼🌌

@_smbrian That's a good way to look at it but you can't deny that Sui doesn't have a problem with community and developer involvement. That's why the action is all on Solana and why Monad is getting all the new attention using evm and solidity which is ugly as fuck but getting action...

Instead of ruminating about "lack of liquidity" on Sui, spend more time thinking about the liquidity that's not even in crypto.

I was clearly wrong about Anthropic. They are obviously currently the leader in AI. No company has released a model as good as Mythos/Fable and they will undoubtedly have Mythos 2 ready soon.
