Will be fascinating to see whether the RBA chooses to push Australia into recession. It still can be avoided with a move to easier policy. Simple. The odds are shortening by the day that a recession will be in play. As Ted Evans once said, in a state of exasperation, recessions are a policy choice ICYMI youtube.com/watch?v=9jz1Hg…

I just got a fine in the post because my teenage daughter had the seatbelt under her arm. $2115 It's not a fine that she wasn't wearing her seatbelt, it's that she didn't wear it right. Just a camera sitting there to watch our every move and raise revenue for the government. It was probably during the time we were singing John Farnhams "2 strong hearts". We love that song, we sing it loud and proud, until the part about the river to the wet large section of water that connects continents. We would never sing that part government, because that's banned too. $2115 for this. Honestl7 #AustralianOil #auspol

Petrol prices will drop 26 cents tomorrow. Should dissuade many motorists from filling up today, allowing some deliveries to top up the petrol stations. One (slightly) redeeming feature of the policy

Westpac are now forecasting the cash rate gets to 4.85% (highest since the GFC) by August this year and that cuts to the cash rate won't come until 2028 with one cut each quarter that year.

Diana, I worked in China for 15 years as a CEO for a multinational company. I am here to expose CCP lies and propaganda. Everything I post is the truth.

@WarrenVsCCP You traitor, you spend all day posting nonsense and spreading rumors about China on overseas platforms. You don't even dare to go back to the mainland, yet you criticize China all the time. The real China is nothing like what you describe. Why do you slander them?

🚨🇮🇷🇦🇺 59 Sydney petrol stations are completely out of fuel. Over 200 without diesel. 500+ nationally with empty pumps. Australia declined to send ships to help reopen the Strait of Hormuz two weeks ago. The Strait sent its regards.

🚨🇺🇸🇮🇷 Q: How do you feel about the Iranian FM accusing US and Israel of genocide? Rubio: He's an expert in genocide. The sponsered terrorism around the whole world. Hezbollah? Iran. Hamas? Iran. Houthis? Iran Everywhere you turn they're behind all of it

Interest payments on the $39 trillion national debt are $1.2 trillion per year, only behind Medicare and Social Security for largest item in the budget. In 2028 interest on the debt will exceed Medicare. Gradually each year, as interest on the debt grows faster than our overall economy, interest payments on the national debt will crowd out all other government spending programs. If you are below the age of 60, you will likely be alive to watch the greatest financial crisis in history over the next 20 years. Buy more gold and silver and get ready for the show. It will be epic.
