🚨BREAKING: SecDef Pete Hegseth stares right at the press and goes scorched earth, spelling out their insanity. I could watch this all day. "You, and I mean specifically YOU, the press, you cheer against Trump so hard, it's in your DNA and in your blood to cheer against Trump, because you want him not to be successful so bad, you have to cheer against the efficacy of these strikes. You have to hope maybe they weren't effective." "Maybe the way the Trump administration is representative isn't true. So let's take half truths, spun information, leaked information, and then spin it, spin it in every way we can to try to cause doubt and manipulate the mind, the public mind, over whether or not our brave pilots were successful." "How many stories have been written about how hard it is to, I don't know, fly a plane for 36 hours? Has MSNBC done that story? Has Fox? Have we done the story how hard that is?" "There are so many aspects of what our brave men and women did that because of the hatred of this press corps are undermined because people are trying to leak and spin that it wasn't successful. It's irresponsible." "You're undermining the success of incredible B-2 pilots and incredible F-35 pilots and incredible refuelers and incredible air defenders who accomplished their mission." "How about we talk about how special America is, that only we have these capabilities? I think it's too much to ask, unfortunately, for the fake news. So we're used to that." Do you firmly support Pete Hegseth on this? A. Huge Yes B. No IF Yes, Give me a THUMBS-UP👍!! MAKE THIS GO VIRAL ON 𝕏. LET’S GO 👏

If estimates are correct, this would be the deepest downturn since the Great Financial Crisis HVAC industry unit volume (% Chg. y/y) 2026: 6.5M (-16.0%)* 2025: 7.7M (-20.0%) 2024: 9.9M (11.8%) 2023: 8.7M (-16.7%) 2022: 10.4M (1.9%) 2021: 10.2M (9.3%) 2020: 9.3M (10.1%) 2019: 8.5M (1.9%) 2018: 8.3M (6.5%) 2017: 7.8M (6.5%) 2016: 7.3M (7.6%) 2015: 6.8M (-0.6%) 2014: 6.9M (11.1%) 2013: 6.2M (9.9%) 2012: 5.6M (1.9%) 2011: 5.5M (6.6%) 2010: 5.2M (0.2%) 2009: 5.2M (-11.6%) 2008: 5.8M (-8.9%) 2007: 6.4M (-9.4%) 2006: 7.1M (-17.9%) 2005: 8.6M *Estimated (per Carrier) There’s a lot noise in the data that makes the downturn appear worse than it is Massive surge in demand during COVID with rates at 0% and everyone working from home doing upgrades to house Another surge in demand in 2024 due to a refrigerant change in the industry (e.g., pull ahead in demand) 2025 and 2026 is likely to be another soft year giving back some of the surge in demand from prior years At the surface level, this looks like a scary “deep recession” signal but is likely a period of normalization in the industry

Last week I reserved an Uber XXL to take my family of 6 to the airport today at 4:15am (Uber won’t confirm a driver until 25 minutes before arrival, which is absurd). At 3:50am we get confirmation a driver is en route in a minivan. 5 minutes before pickup, he cancels. No other drivers available. So, we rush to load all 6 of us and 7 suitcases into @MerianneJensen’s Pilot and haul ass to the airport. This is especially inconvenient because we fly home into a different airport, which will necessitate a separate trip when we’re exhausted on our return. The Uber would have been $72. Parking will be $160. Gas will be $20. The separate uber to pick up the car will be $70. So, the way I look at it, Uber owes us $250 that we wouldn’t have had to pay if they actually cared about their customers and punished drivers who cancel. There’s a special place reserved in hell for Uber drivers who cancel on families headed to the airport on Christmas Eve!! 🤬🤬🤬🤬 But more importantly, Uber has ceased being a reliable company. Never again. Avoid them for reservations at all costs and I’d suggest spreading that message.

how does anybody afford anything today? Just talked to my parents, they got a quote for $25,000 for a new heating and a/c system with duct work. 2400 SF house, already has all vents and ducts, just needs new condenser and new furnace. I told them they should be able to get it done for $10-13K max max. New condenser: $3-5K New furnace: $3-5K install $3K Am I high? how does anybody afford anything today?

One step of the process at my firm is doing a “hardcost scrub” where we go line by line down the construction budget & hammer the estimator w/ Qs trying to find ways to save $ We just found $1m by moving the condensers from the roof to the ground & now i just gotta find like 5 more of those to make the deal work

Almost every high top is taken and apparently a local company pays to reserve a few for employees (for a fee). Apparently it gets much more busy by mid day with the whole bar full. On Fridays “ppl start drinking at 10am and it gets real fun” according to the barista / bartender 😂

There is a brewery near me that started opening up in the mornings and serving coffee and has become a popular free “co- working” space. Going to check it out for the first time in advance of renting an apartment w / @JRMcFadyen

Best advice I’ve heard over the years on starting a new AE role if you want to get commission checks asap. (I’ve also done it 3 times myself and always smashed ramp quota) - Push very hard to get your book of business/ territory assigned first week. - Organize it and scan for low hanging fruit. Previous closed lost, churn, MQLs, people who’ve replied to emails in the past, etc… - Hit the phones immediately (early week two at the latest) and get your own pipeline. Once you have one deal you got yourself, they’ll start getting you some inbound and BDR love - Play it cool and don’t burn a bridge in the way you do it, but get ahead of their onboarding timeline. This isn’t 5th grade. The timeline is designed for slow people who can’t self onboard. - Bring your manager on every single call, pre call plan, post call sync. They will like that you are being coachable and you can lean on their product knowledge and internal social capital. You get more access to this kind of help early. - Sync with existing top AEs and find out what they do. Be humble. Be on time to the call with them. Ask them about the industry and what articles you should read or podcasts to listen to in order to speak the prospect’s language. - Get into the product and learn it. Watch gong recordings of all the top rep’s calls. Watch the discovery calls for big deals that actually closed. Follow their sales cycle and build your own version of what working for them. - If needed, make friends with someone on the product/technical team who can answer your questions or join calls with prospects. You will need this early on. What else?

Trump: Years ago, I bid $500 million to rebuild the UN complex, marble floors, mahogany walls, best of everything. They chose another plan, cost $2–4 billion, far worse, massive overruns, no marble floors. I was right.

@TomWaldron97066 @raul_1329 @Will_Schryver Instantaneous demand response / peak load shifting is my bet on where AI is an application best fit. Tied in directly with utility providers managing grid performance

@TomWaldron97066 @raul_1329 @Will_Schryver Bingo - hard to capture additional value at its current price point. Thoroughly optimized sequence of operations will capture most of these savings without a subscription type fee structure. Also “proprietary” info in how the AI operates is a huge obstacle for sales cycle

Carrier’s management commentary at the Morgan Stanley conference on the challenging state of the residential HVAC market and their bearish outlook for a 40% YoY decline in volume
