Multiple sources now saying Mitch Lewis close to re-committing to Hawthorn despite Ben King being a good chance to join. Collingwood - as discussed below - have been interested since the Hawks' initial four-year offer was deemed below what the Lewis camp hoped for. Unclear whether that offer has improved, but kicking five can't hurt.

@daicoszn He is the master of the old 1-2 Goes from 8 touches to 16 in the space of five minutes. 6 Cont Poss out of 36. Didn’t have one and hadn’t laid a tackle up until half time. By the way Cripps had 133 AFL points. Even Houston who is the biggest seagull going had more AFL points.

cripps & walsh had incredibly selfish moments on saturday night. it was extremely frustrating. being a leader doesn’t mean you have to do everything yourself. you stand up and get those around you to follow. pissed me the fk off. trying to take on 3 guys instead of giving off the easy option ffs.

Fundamentally, it’d be interesting to know if Christian has sanctioned Cripps for staging in the sense that he believes it shouldn’t have been a free kick or because he believes Cripps embellished or accentuated contact. Frightening if the former, slippery slope if the latter.
