Caravan Talkies Rolls Out Across Punjab for Agniveer Aspirants
ARO Patiala, under ZRO Jalandhar, in association with Airawat Division of Kharga Corps, has launched the “Caravan Talkies” mobile outreach initiative to boost awareness for the Agniveer Recruitment Cycle 2026–27.
The mobile registration units are travelling across Punjab, covering ITI colleges, NCC battalions and key locations, providing detailed insights into recruitment procedures and conducting on-the-spot registration for aspiring candidates.
This initiative aims to empower the youth by bringing opportunities directly to their doorstep and encouraging them to step forward to serve the Nation with pride.

Strength & Determination on Display at Bareilly Rally – Day 08
The Agniveer Recruitment Rally at Jat Regimental Centre, Bareilly, conducted by Army Recruiting Office Bareilly under HQ Recruiting Zone (UP & Uttarakhand), continues to witness exceptional enthusiasm and endurance.
On Day 08, over 1,000 candidates of the Agniveer General Duty (GD) category from Budaun district showcased unwavering commitment and passion to join the Indian Army.
Maj Gen Manish Kumar, YSM, SM, ADG HQ Recruiting Zone Lucknow (UP & Uttarakhand), reviewed the proceedings and motivated aspirants to strive relentlessly towards earning the honour of becoming Agniveers and serving the Nation with pride. He also appreciated the proactive support of HQ Uttar Bharat and the Civil Administration Bareilly for ensuring smooth and professional conduct of the rally.
The Indian Army continues to uphold a fair, transparent and merit-based selection process, reflecting the highest standards of professionalism.

DelhiToDweep 2.0 | Reaching the Islands, Inspiring the Nation
As part of the #DelhiToDweep2.0 campaign, Zonal Recruiting Office Chennai has commenced its outreach across the Andaman & Nicobar Islands, inspiring youth to pursue a career in the Indian Army.
A motivational lecture was conducted by Recruiting Office (HQ) Chennai at JNRM College, Sri Vijaya Puram, attended by over 100 NCC cadets of 1 (A&N) Indep Inf Coy.
The session covered key aspects of Army Recruitment Notification 2027, including:
* Life in the Indian Army and facilities available
* Agniveer and Permanent entry schemes with eligibility criteria
* Bonus marks for NCC, Sports, Diploma and ITI candidates
* Recruitment process including online registration, CEE and rally stages (explained through videos and presentations)
* Increase in Agniveer age limit to 22 years (Male & Female)
* Introduction of pull-ups in physical tests for Agniveer Women
* Pay, emoluments and post-service opportunities for Agniveers
* Precautions against touts and recruitment frauds
Cadets were encouraged to take the first step towards donning the Olive Green, embracing a life of discipline, honour and service to the Nation.

Mining the Techno Warriors | Special Outreach by ARO Secunderabad
ARO Secunderabad, under the aegis of HQ Recruiting Zone Chennai, conducted a Special Outreach Programme at Govt. ITI College & Advanced Technology Centre, Mallepally, Hyderabad on 18 March 2026, focusing on engaging techno-skilled youth for a future-ready Indian Army.
The programme witnessed participation of 258 students and 21 staff members, generating strong interest among candidates from technical backgrounds to join the Armed Forces.
Brig R.K. Awasthi, DDG Recruiting (States), addressed the gathering and highlighted the growing role of technology, discipline and leadership in the modern Indian Army. The event was also attended by Mrs A. Vandana, District Employment Officer, Hyderabad, and Mr R. Srinivasa, Principal, who appreciated the initiative and assured continued support.
Students were briefed on:
* Life in the Indian Army and exposure to modern technology
* Officer entry schemes and Agniveer recruitment features
* Eligibility for Agniveer Technical entry and emerging technical roles
* Bonus marks for NCC, Sports, ITI and Diploma candidates
* Recruitment process including CEE and rally stages via presentations and JIA portal
* Precautions against touts and fraudulent practices
* Government support and future opportunities for Agniveers
* Live demonstration of registration and application procedures
The session concluded with an interactive Q&A, followed by distribution of pamphlets and registration flowcharts. On-the-spot registration was also conducted, with 20 candidates successfully registering, reflecting the programme’s immediate impact.

Indian Army Recruitment 2027 | Outreach Initiatives by ZRO Chennai
In line with the Indian Army Recruitment Notification 2027, Zonal Recruiting Office Chennai has launched multiple initiatives to enhance awareness and encourage youth participation across Tamil Nadu.
Key initiatives include:
* Dissemination of recruitment information through letters to all District Collectors across Tamil Nadu
* Screening of recruitment awareness videos in movie theatres across the state
* Placement of banners at prominent public locations for wider visibility
* Distribution of pamphlets with QR codes linking directly to individual entry notifications
* Extensive use of social media platforms to reach potential aspirants
* Press releases in leading newspapers to spread awareness about recruitment opportunities
To further boost registrations, a meeting was held with Thiru K. Balasubramanian, IAS, Additional Secretary, Public (Military) Department, Government of Tamil Nadu, who assured full support for timely and widespread dissemination of the recruitment notification.

Youth Outreach by ARO Amethi | Inspiring Future Leaders
Army Recruiting Office Amethi, under ZRO (UP & Uttarakhand), conducted a youth outreach programme at Sainik School Amethi to inspire cadets towards a career in the Armed Forces.
The session featured an engaging interaction with Maj Gen Manish Kumar, YSM, SM, Zonal Recruiting Officer (UP & Uttarakhand), who motivated the cadets to pursue a life of leadership, discipline and service to the Nation. He encouraged them to cultivate qualities such as perseverance, integrity and strong leadership that define officers of the Indian Armed Forces.
During the interactive session, cadets enthusiastically asked questions about military training, life in the services and various entry pathways into the Armed Forces. Sharing insights from his service experience, the General Officer highlighted the importance of physical fitness, mental resilience and academic excellence for aspiring leaders.
He also appreciated the pivotal role of Sainik Schools in shaping future military leaders by instilling discipline, resilience and patriotism among young students.
The interaction concluded on an inspiring note, with the cadets of Sainik School Amethi expressing strong enthusiasm and determination to prepare themselves for a future in the Armed Forces.

Agniveer Recruitment Rally Successfully Conducted at Guntur
Army Recruiting Office Guntur, under the aegis of ZRO Chennai, successfully conducted the Agniveer Recruitment Rally at Acharya Nagarjuna University, Nagarjunanagar, Guntur, reaffirming the Indian Army’s commitment to youth empowerment and nation-building.

Youth of Uttar Pradesh Show Strong Spirit at Bareilly Agniveer Rally
The Agniveer Recruitment Rally at the Jat Regimental Centre, Bareilly, being conducted by Army Recruiting Office Bareilly under Headquarters Recruiting Zone (UP & Uttarakhand), commenced on 11 March 2026.
Over the first three days, more than 2,500 candidates have participated across various Agniveer categories, displaying strong determination and enthusiasm to serve the Nation.
On 13 March 2026, Lt Gen D.G. Misra, AVSM, General Officer Commanding Uttar Bharat, visited the rally venue and reviewed the recruitment process. He appreciated the dedicated efforts of all stakeholders in ensuring a smooth, transparent and well-organised recruitment process.
The General Officer also commended the Civil Administration for its proactive support, highlighting the strong civil–military synergy contributing towards nation-building.

* Eligibility criteria for Agniveer Technical entry
* Bonus marks for NCC, Sports, ITI and Diploma holders
* Recruitment procedure including CEE and rally stages

As part of the Special Outreach for Recruiting Year 2027, major updates were highlighted including increase in Agniveer age limit, revised age calculation as on 01 Jan & 31 Jul of the recruiting year, option to select sub-trades for Tradesmen (10th & 8th) during JIA registration, changes in Technical education criteria, and introduction of a new physical test for Agniveer Women Military Police.
A live demonstration of registration on the Join Indian Army portal was conducted, followed by distribution of pamphlets and application flowcharts.
