@RichmondRCMP Did the officer follow safety protocol for emergency response? The officer should slow/stop to ensure the intersection is cleared prior to proceed through on a red light? Or the other driver ran the red? Looking at the damages, speed is a factor.
Some of the more serious safety infractions discovered recently by CVT at the Port and on Knight St. First, dirt and rocks piled to edge. Next, top air brake gauge inoperable-can the tractor-trailer stop safely? Last, tires under inflated and rubbing. All taken OOS. #DriveSafely

@RichmondRCMP How does speeding reduce reaction time? Reaction time for a person has no correlation to speeding.
Second, "speeding" to an outdated speed limit really need need a second look. The modern automotive can stop on a dime at speed way past 50km/H.
