@ALeighMP Isn't the energy sector a male dominated industry? Seems to me that building new coal fired power stations would provide a lot of new jobs for men, not take them away? And slashing immigration would also help young men get more jobs would it not ?

@SkyNewsAust I'm curious why they put a former climate change ambassador or whatever she was, in charge of this fuel crisis- isn't that a huge conflict of ideology? A person that doesn't believe in fossil fuels and believes in net zero etc. put in charge of a fuel crisis. make it make sense

I condemn today’s military escalation in the Middle East. The use of force by the United States & Israel against Iran, and the subsequent retaliation by Iran across the region, undermine international peace & security.   All Member States must respect their obligations under international law, including the Charter of the @UN. The Charter clearly prohibits “the threat of the use of force against the territorial integrity or political independence of any state, or in any other manner inconsistent with the Purposes of the United Nations.”   I call for an immediate cessation of hostilities & de-escalation. Failing to do so risks a wider regional conflict with grave consequences for civilians & regional stability. I strongly encourage all parties to return immediately to the negotiating table.   I reiterate that there is no viable alternative to the peaceful settlement of international disputes, in full accordance with international law, including the UN Charter. The Charter provides the foundation for the maintenance of international peace and security.

It looks like the Coalition has split again with 11 members of the shadow ministry offering their resignations. It's sad that voting on principle is all it takes to blow up the opposition. I have big criticisms of Sussan Ley, but Anthony Albanese is even worse. That's why now, more than ever, we need an effective opposition to hold the Prime Minister to account. That job is being done by One Nation. We will hold both the Government and the Opposition to account and make sure they are making decisions in Australian's interest first.

@RightScopee I got it once, got a cold shiver, then a hot fever, did the test, came up +'ve, decided that as a working mum, I didn't have time to be sick, so I took 2 panadol, 1 nurofen, drank 1Litre of water, rubbed vicks on my chest and feet, woke up 8 hours later without a single symptom

@zeusygirl @therealrukshan Not to defend them, but google maps literally takes you on the south western motorway, directly through liverpool, to get from Melbourne to bondi.. you probably wouldn't make a stop in liverpool, but the freeway definitely takes you past the liverpool area

@andrewbogut They are already saying the next step is to control the algorithms to stop people viewing "dangerous content." In other words - stop people seeing alternative points of view and stop them from waking up and having their own thoughts, or being able to think critically.
