Damn bro, I wonder why the generation that feels like they have no future gets upset when you tell them they can't have their one tangible form of relief and enjoyment.

@IamR0galD0rn @bigsmallones You need 2,000~2,500 calories a day. It's not one sandwich a day. It's three, if you make it really dense. So weekly, that's 21 sandwiches. Two hundred USD on fucking sandwiches. That's how much my groceries cost weekly anyway, and I don't have to live entirely off sandwiches.

Ok, kids: 1 lb chicken breast 1 bell pepper 1 onion 1 cup soy sauce 1 tbsp curry powder 1pkg microwaveable rice Dice chicken, pepper, & onion Stir fry chicken & onion until brown Add bell pepper After a few mins, add mix of soy sauce & curry powder With rice, that’s 3 meals

Loaf of bread = $5 Peanut butter = $4 Jelly = $4 18 pack of chips = $12 Bag of apples = $5 Total = $30 And you'll have lunch for an entire week or two. $2-4 average per day. Inflation isn't the problem. Your spending habits are.

Perfect example of the "commiseration seeking" style of communication. The only solution-oriented response to complaints about a $28 sandwich is "pack a lunch." I mean you either pay, don't eat lunch, or pack a sack. But they are looking for a emotional "acknowledgement."
