@Se_Railway I understood this, but what I cannot understand is why the service was a) still showing as operating despite the train never having left its origin b) the staff on the platform less information than I did and c) why not even an announcement was made when it was cancelled?

@D_Harte Hi David, This train was cancelled due to a member of the signalling staff not being available. We now have a member of staff in place and hope to get services up and running again. Apologies for any delays caused to your journey today. ^FA

@Se_Railway why is it that the 2007 service to Ramsgate is still on the boards as showing departing at St Pancras despite the incoming train not yet still having departed Dover? Really great communication as usual!
