@ivandemigoal @stephlep84 trading young talent for aging is almost never gonna work out unless you're a top 3 cup contender... happy they didn't trade away future assets even at this deadline

In response to a personal attack by President Donald Trump the night before, Pope Leo told journalists on the papal plane to Algeria: “I have no fear of the Trump administration or speaking out loudly of the message of the Gospel, which is what I believe I am here to do, what the Church is here to do. We are not politicians. We don’t deal with foreign policy with the same perspective he might understand it, but I do believe in the message of the Gospel, as a peacemaker.” (Video: @OSVNews)

@JasonGregor @Gorillioneer It's a metric that measures player’s isolated effect on expected goals against per minute while shorthanded -factoring teammates and opponents and shot numbers/quality while on ice... with the GA metric you used, Makar has 13 against in 144 minutes Bouchard 18 against in 144 min

@Daniel57568064 @Gorillioneer Bouchard has killed the most PK min on Oilers blueline and he has the lowest GA/60 among them, despite playing against first unit PP most often. Can you explain the formula that leads to 18%.

@Gorillioneer @JasonGregor Bouchard may be out there but hes not doing a great job, especially not at PK...Makar's quite clearly the best all around D not really close...but i understand they wont give him the Norris every year...Bouchards not the worst choice

@TheWealthMill @thecasualbengal @BarbellFi I'm not saying go all in on USA stocks either, but own the market something like VT buy and hold never sell or time the market is the right move for 99% of investors.

@TheWealthMill @thecasualbengal @BarbellFi I understand that you may be trying to save people money but getting them out of the market ruins longterm returns.... Historic forward P/E ratio estimates for S&P 500 tend to be within give or take ~5% accuracy....You may think "this time is different" but usually that's wrong

@TheWealthMill @thecasualbengal @BarbellFi Economists are absolutely terrible and projecting the stock market. We recently had a 18.4% drop in the Forward P/E ratio, but the S&P is holding up much better. Yes trailing P/E is high but market is forward looking at growth has been high and likely will continue to be...

@MitchMartan98 @TheLongInvest This is false...Yes he made the post about not chasing after the Microsoft deal, but the price was $90 when he posted that....it proceeded to go up another 45% up after that post...

$NBIS 🎯 @TheLongInvest was the only one saying wait for the pullback after the $MSFT deal. I remember it vividly because he got a TON of flack for it. It went to a peak of $135 and everyone was screaming $200. Funny enough it round tripped all of the gains and came back to as low as $73. I also know this because he was then telling people exactly when to buy and when it looked attractive. Fast forward 2 months, it’s $136+ and on the verge of a major breakout. Well done!
The Long Investor@TheLongInvest

$NBIS ok 2 months later, here's the same chart My commentary that day: 'I am sharing this because I warned people not to chase this in Sept - Oct and to wait for a pull back It's only right that I share it again when it is looking bullish and attractive to add again after it has pulled back as expected.' And it is looking very attractive right now and still has not broken out $93 to $124 Now and there is a breakout! PT is $280

@northr90 @MattWalshBlog Best option was of course not starting a stupid pointless war, but he was too stupid to realize how this would play out...even Vance tried to tell him... Second best option is make a deal to open the strait in return for reparations and an apology of wrongdoing. Oil prices drop.

@Daniel57568064 @MattWalshBlog The money for the defense spending is already allocated. If we leave now, you think oil prices go down? Lmao. Explain that one. Just trust iran to handle it and not start demanding transit fees or worse? This is so short sighted and stupid it is annoying to even have to respond

Americans are suffering. It is way too expensive just to live for most families. Our cities aren’t safe. Our country is being transformed every day by foreign migration. Our elections aren’t secure. The SAVE act was not passed and won’t be passed. It’s time to end this war in Iran and focus on our country, our people, our future. Far too much of Trump’s second term has been spent on foreign adventures. It has to end. Turn the attention back home.

@northr90 @MattWalshBlog Every week of this war has costed us over $11B each...also: - Oil prices spike → higher gas prices → inflation - Supply chains get disrupted globally - Stock market, peoples 401ks down... Not to mention its an extremely unpopular war, large majority are against it...

@MattWalshBlog How do any of those things change if we leave Iran? You conservative pundits have allowed republican politicians to get away with not doing their jobs or solving any of the problems at home. There isn't anything else that Trump can do that he isn't already doing.

Shrinking hyperscaler free cash flow is bullish. These businesses printed so much that they didn’t know what to do. They paid dividends or bought back shares. Now they have a rare opportunity to deploy capital at scale and generate satisfactory returns. As a shareholder, you should always prefer increasing capital deployment if there is an opportunity to generate above average returns. We have that rare opportunity now and deploying as much capital as possible is the right business decision.

There's basically no difference between this and the exact same kinds of "dumb spring breaker" videos you'd see 10 years ago or 20 years ago or 30 years ago. I actually don't mind the fact that a bunch of 18 and 19 year old kids are totally ignorant about world affairs. That's healthier than obsessively doomscrolling alone in your basement or whatever. The problem is that these kids can vote. We should all just agree that 19 year olds are stupid and don't know anything, and that's basically fine, but it's also why they shouldn't be able to vote. Raise the voting age to 25.

@common8er @StonkChris @IainMacBets I do think it was actually solid for entertainment in the 2010-2020 era too, but the NBA became too much about Lebron James, those who loved or hated him...and now that he's no longer really relevant, neither is the NBA

@sandhu_a4 @BenWoodfinden @NatCitizens I listened to the full podcast, he came off very well and relatable. But I thought his answers were very weak on how to make Canada better, basically was just speed up permits and less regulation...it was incredibly vague...seemed surprisingly unprepared t me.

Poilievre went on the world's biggest podcast and for two hours calmly, intelligently and relatably made the case for Canada directly to millions of Americans, many of whom voted for Trump. He explained why we're friends, why the tariffs are bad for both sides, why we'll never be the 51st state, and Poilievre's vision for Canada. Rogan's audience needs to hear this message, and this is exactly the kind of advocacy Canada needs right now.

@OliverC1980 @TheRonnieVShow Totally agree...with Trump's macro you can throw charts in the trash... Tariffs on wasn't the charts, tariffs off wasn't the charts, war in Iran wasn't the charts and neither will the end of the war be...You can retroactively draw lines on whatever you want...
