@jlszoom @Rightanglenews @grok those of you slagging me need to touch grass. You read into my question and assigned an intention I never had. I'm as big a free speech guy as there is. I just wanted to see what grok would say to the question b/c I've been neck deep in Ai stuff lately.

BREAKING - Alissa Haase of Fort Mill, South Carolina says it’s time for Republicans to “count their days,” adding that if she encounters any while armed she will “place it between their eyes, starting with Trump,” Would be a shame if her employer and the Secret Service saw this.

@DanielDRunion @Rightanglenews @grok Asking Grok before you posted would have been a smart move, but then if you were that smart, you would not have to asked in the 1st place. Got exited, thought he had a gotcha moment. Not smart enough to see the obvious flaw in the argument.

When I worked at Goldman Sachs we had an unwritten rule where we’d automatically approve an applicant’s loan if they were wearing a kippah, tallit, shtreimel, gartel, or similar You can walk into any large bank wearing a kippah and they will give you a loan with zero interest. They won’t even check your credit score (yes, even if you’re black)

Software horror: litellm PyPI supply chain attack. Simple `pip install litellm` was enough to exfiltrate SSH keys, AWS/GCP/Azure creds, Kubernetes configs, git credentials, env vars (all your API keys), shell history, crypto wallets, SSL private keys, CI/CD secrets, database passwords. LiteLLM itself has 97 million downloads per month which is already terrible, but much worse, the contagion spreads to any project that depends on litellm. For example, if you did `pip install dspy` (which depended on litellm>=1.64.0), you'd also be pwnd. Same for any other large project that depended on litellm. Afaict the poisoned version was up for only less than ~1 hour. The attack had a bug which led to its discovery - Callum McMahon was using an MCP plugin inside Cursor that pulled in litellm as a transitive dependency. When litellm 1.82.8 installed, their machine ran out of RAM and crashed. So if the attacker didn't vibe code this attack it could have been undetected for many days or weeks. Supply chain attacks like this are basically the scariest thing imaginable in modern software. Every time you install any depedency you could be pulling in a poisoned package anywhere deep inside its entire depedency tree. This is especially risky with large projects that might have lots and lots of dependencies. The credentials that do get stolen in each attack can then be used to take over more accounts and compromise more packages. Classical software engineering would have you believe that dependencies are good (we're building pyramids from bricks), but imo this has to be re-evaluated, and it's why I've been so growingly averse to them, preferring to use LLMs to "yoink" functionality when it's simple enough and possible.
Daniel Hnyk@hnykda

LiteLLM HAS BEEN COMPROMISED, DO NOT UPDATE. We just discovered that LiteLLM pypi release 1.82.8. It has been compromised, it contains litellm_init.pth with base64 encoded instructions to send all the credentials it can find to remote server + self-replicate. link below

NEW: New video footage captures the moment an Air Canada jet and a fire truck collided at New York’s LaGuardia Airport. Here is what we know: - The plane’s two pilots sadly died. - 41 passengers and crew members were taken to the hospital. - Audio from the air traffic tower suggests the controllers may have been distracted by an earlier incident at the airport, according to the New York Times. - Two officers in the fire truck were injured. - This is the first fatal accident at LaGuardia Airport since 1992. - Passenger Jack Cabot says: “The plane landed pretty hard, you heard a loud bang and suddenly everything was out of control. The plane was veering back and forth. No one was driving at that point.”

In the last 3 weeks it has taken me for stuck, burned out and cynical on corporate America to creative and hopeful busting my ass on a passion project that I really think has legs. Hoping to demo/pitch to Fortune 50 Financial Institution next month (seriously ). Have working prototype that I’m putting finishing touches on and working on pitch deck and business plan.

Sixteen years ago, one man stood alone on a grassy hill at a music festival in Washington State, USA, and started dancing by himself. People glanced over and looked away. Some laughed. His roommate leaned in and warned him people were filming him. He did not stop. Then one stranger got up and joined him. Then another. Then the hillside tipped. Within minutes, hundreds of people were sprinting from across the field to be part of something that, thirty seconds earlier, had been one man being laughed at in a field. Someone filming from higher up the hill said quietly: "See what one man can do. One man can change the world." The clip spread across the internet in 2009. Entrepreneur Derek Sivers played it at a TED conference to explain how movements actually begin. Not with the first person brave enough to start, he argued, but with the first person willing to join them. Collin Wynter, the man dancing alone, later said he had no idea he had done anything special. He was just tired of watching everyone sit still.

I'm learning AI faster than I can update my resume, so I built an agent that does it for me. Custom Claude skill that rides alongside me as I work: — Mentors me in real time — Logs accomplishments automatically — Drafts resume bullets for 4 different role types — Runs a weekly update cycle No code. Just prompt engineering + system design. The irony: building the system is itself a resume bullet.

🚨#BREAKING: It has been revealed that the 37 year old man who was found with a 16-year-old girl who was reported missing from Charlotte NC... ...HAS BEEN ARRESTED 12 PREVIOUS TIMES!!!! The driver, Joshua Magraff, 37, of Charlotte, North Carolina, initially said the passenger was his 16-year-old cousin. The deputy placed the juvenile in his patrol car and she told him her real name. Upon a search, it was found that the teen was reported missing a month earlier from North Carolina. Contact was made with the teen's mother. The mother stated she did not know Magraff and she reported her daughter missing on Feb. 16. When deputies asked Magraff what his connection was to the teen, Magraff changed his story to she was a friend. When deputies asked him why he was hanging out with a 16-year-old his story changed AGAIN to stating he thought she was 19. Magraff was arrested and charged with interference in child custody, synthetic marijuana possession, possession of counterfeit currency, contributing to delinquency of a minor and possession of drug paraphernalia.

@mattvanswol Does anyone find it weird that liberals always want to charge police officers and throw them in jail for split second decisions but they always want to let career violent criminals go and claim they’re insane or whatever bs excuse they want to make up?

🚨#BREAKING: Liberals are calling for a police officer to be ARRESTED AND CHARGED WITH M*RDER after he shot a tow truck driver who SPED AWAY while the officer was still HANGING ONTO THE TOW TRUCK. Police say the officer approached the tow truck and ordered the driver to get out of the vehicle due to a parole violation. "The suspect immediately started the vehicle and suddenly drove off at a high rate of speed while the officer was clinging to the suspect and the driver side window," said Milwaukee Police Chief Jefferson Norman. The officer allegedly told the two truck driver that he was going to sho*t him if he did not stop driving, but the driver continued speeding down the road. "The officer discharged his firearm, subsequently striking the suspect and finally stopping the truck," Chief Norman said. The officer involved was placed on routine administrative leave following the incident but now many liberals are calling for the officer to be charged with m*rder.

The funniest thing is there is nothing at all happening to the population of white people. Commons sense states that there never has been, never will be genocide with the white population well especially in America. Yes illegal immigration can raise the population of one community but it cannot lower the rate of another!! I agree that countries needs to protect their citizens from illegals and just a huge migration which can alter one’s country’s culture. However that is the problem and surely a color war you are trying to create isn’t the issue!!

White people down bad. They need you to pay all the taxes to fund systems that replace you, but they spare a few of you to go die over in the Middle East to "protect your country" while invaders are welcomed in and given green cards. White people are getting decimated.

Because for 40+ years liberals and liberal parents have ruined the America education system while importing people that actually took schooling seriously. When they ran out of the actual talented H1B's they started lowering the bar so now even fast food workers have to compete w/ immigrants.

I'm joining SpaceX and xAI, working closely with Elon and team to build superintelligence. Together SpaceX and xAI combine physical and digital intelligence under a leader who understands hardware at the deepest level. Add a high-agency culture with frontier-scale resources, and you get the possibility to achieve something truly unique. I’m excited to advance the fields I’ve obsessed over for years, from robotics research to building AI models on the founding teams of Mistral and TML. Both were extraordinary journeys with extraordinary people that shaped how I think about building intelligence from the ground up. Grateful for everything that brought me here and can’t wait to get started.
