Nobody is suggesting SVB management or investors get bailed out by taxpayers

There are currently ~1,200 private companies valued at $1Bn+ globally, but typically there are only about 20-30 VC-backed exits of $1Bn+ companies via M&A/IPO annually. At that rate, only ~20% will exit over the next decade, assuming they have the funding to get there.
