MAP OF THIS SPEECH: - Touted progress on objectives - Defended need for operation (history of atrocities, race for a nuclear bomb, insulation from outside intervention via missile program) QUOTE: “They were right at the doorstep. For years, everyone has said that Iran cannot have nuclear weapons. But in the end, those are just words if you're not willing to take action when the time comes.” - Praised US military’s quick progress - Thanked Gulf allies for partnership (no direct criticism of NATO… ) - Framed spike in energy prices as short term, and evidence that Iran threat needed to be acted on: “The short term increase has been entirely the result of the Iranian regime launching deranged terror attacks against commercial oil tankers … more proof that Iran can never be trusted with nuclear weapons…It would lead to decades of extortion, economic pain and instability” - Framed US economy as able to absorb this moment: “no inflation...highest stock market ever…America has plenty of gas...” - Call to action for Europe, Asia: “Number one, buy oil from the United States of America… number two, build up some delayed courage… Go to the straight and just take it.” - Set high bar for economic outlook: “It will soon be roaring back.. It will top the levels that it was a month ago” 🚨Set a timeline…and set the stage for possible new phase of war (if ‘new, more reasonable Iran regime’ doesn’t agree to terms): “We are going to hit them extremely hard over the next 2 to 3 weeks. We're going to bring them back to the stone ages where they belong. In the meantime, discussions are ongoing.” - Framed operation as shorter than every other US military op since WW1, and emphasized the justification: “This is a true investment in your children and your grandchildren's future”

@Jesseee31958 @JJahncke @ksorbs Yeah no it sounds like you have an incredibly low stakes job. A public facing job like basketball player where you are paid large amounts of $ to get fans to pay to watch the team is completely different. Impressive you don't get that.

@oren_cass I think her defense is that Trump ended up *changing* the tariffs after they made their initial analysis. Why wouldn't the results be drastically different from what they predicted if they based their predictions on 21% effective tariffs and Trump cut them to 13%?

@JJahncke @ksorbs So the team owns the players even when they are on their own time. So what you are saying is that the owners are slave owners. And these players are not allowed to do anything without owners permission. Guess that’s why they are all millionaires.

TSA workers confirm they’ve now started receiving back pay and “have gotten their paychecks for the last two missed pay periods.” This has “brought an improved start to the week for travelers.” This is all thanks to President Trump’s executive order.

Do we really have a physician shortage? US is far ahead of Pakistan and India in terms of physician density, yet we keep getting told we need their doctors to survive.

In January, I called on the president to fire Noem—and he did. I truly approached the confirmation of my colleague and friend, Senator Mullin, with an open-mind. We need a leader at DHS. We must reopen DHS. My AYE is rooted in a strong committed, constructive working relationship with Senator Mullin for our nation’s security.
U.S. Senator John Fetterman@SenFettermanPA

.@POTUS @realDonaldTrump: I make a direct appeal to immediately fire @Sec_Noem. Americans have died. She is betraying DHS’s core mission and trashing your border security legacy. DO NOT make the mistake President Biden made for not firing a grossly incompetent DHS Secretary.

Imagine being a working class family that just spent 30 years paying off a mortgage for a small one bed, one bath in Astoria and then you pass away and your kids are taxed 50% of the value because they’re deemed “rich” and they’re forced to liquidate the property

NEWS: Zohran Mamdani is proposing big changes to New York’s estate tax: - Tax rate: increase top tax rate to 50% (from 16%) - Threshold: lower to $750K (from $7M) Mamdani is currently facing a $5.4B city budget deficit so this is one way he’s trying to close the gap.

@malachybrowne @CENTCOM @johnismay @GianlucaMezzo @ThomasBordeaux7 @mmkelly22 Hey mate, I’ve been looking at gore/body/graphic imagery metadata and the regime approved photojournalists around this. What are your thoughts on camera/editorial metadata anomalies (especially surrounding body images)? Cheers! x.com/ozzymanreviews…
Ozzy Man Reviews@OzzyManReviews

I've been down a rabbit hole for a week over the Minab school bombing and I'm at a point where I need to know who else is working on this ay? Like, any investigative journalists? I feel like it's fishy. I know heaps of us do and yeah nah yeah endless Iranians KNOW it's fishy for sure. Without witness testimony because of the internet blackout we are all lacking in a proper understanding of what happened, yeah? The rural citizen Iranian voices we should be hearing from, we can't hear from, they're cut off. I do not doubt a strike happened and I understand the sensitive nature of this topic. I also do not doubt the mint work by geolocator folks @ntabrizy @NemoAnno @ChrisOsieck and that it likely was a US/Israel missile. Although, it's fair for many Iranians to believe it was the Islamic Republic/IRGC as they've grown up with those guys in power and know how they operate, manipulate, and control the absolute shit out of information and narratives. Hard to beat listening to people's lived experiences folks. I can only say that whenever evidence of the Shajareh Tayyibeh/Boys Elementary school casualties in particular comes up in my feeds (including a tidal wave of funeral procession content that hit the web on March 3rd) it feels like there's something...off. Again, Iranians would know the feeling, they've lived with it, for many of us it's a new overwhelming feeling. Over the last week I've discovered there's a massive community of white-listed Iranian internet users on Instagram that are clearly regime approved content creators, ai specialists, IT engineers, bloggers, graphic designers etc. Accounts like morybndhaa, sedkhareji, monib. academy and monib .life and a whole network of others in their comment sections with IG Stories and Reels pumping out daily. Definitely lots of ai being shared between 'em all. Perhaps something open source and hard as fuck to detect that's up there with that bloody Tom Cruise vs Brad Pitt fight a month ago ay?? Remember when we all lost our shit over how realistic that looked a month ago? I suppose I've bookmarked 50 odd accounts that look like white-listed Islamic Republic/IRGC regime internet users. But I'm interested in if any photojournalist content may have indeed snuck by the big players: @AP @APNewsroom @JuliePace @GettyImages because once the Islamic Republic/IRGC can achieve the bare minimum of verifiability it seems like it's game on for propaganda. They can send a regime foreign minister to be platformed by the @UNHumanRights and tell everyone what he wants, have it backed up with content on AP/Getty, and let the global media basically dine out and do the rest in the scramble for quick clicks and engagement (at the impending detriment of humanity of course, but that's a separate rant). Has there truly been zero, zero, ZERO doubt around photographers on the AP/Getty websites??? Abbas Zakeri, Amirhossein Khorgooei, Ali Najafi, Morteza Akhondi (I think he is behind the graveyard drone shots under the guise of Iran's Foreign Media Department crediting). I keep seeing iffy metadata details anytime I dig. And then I go "ah it's nothing" the next day and go get a beer. But I dig again at 3am like I'm in fucken True Detective and it feels like anything around official photojournalistic gore/body/casualty imagery has some freakin' itty bitty anomaly. By the time it's 3, 4, 5 itty bitty anomalies I'm like "gargh it can't just all be human laziness and incompetence!" So I stop drinking beer again for 12 hours to bloody well focus again. Attached are some screenshots trying to articulate what I'm rambling on about. Have a look please @guardian @abcnews @newscomauHQ @washingtonpost @thehill @Reuters @NPR @ConversationEDU @thetimes @ABCNetwork @australian @dailytelegraph @smh @herald @heraldnz @CBSNetworkPR @cbschicago @NBCNews @CNN @TheSun contact ya regional AP/Getty person if need be and you think their forensic team should check the images in question here again. This is so important because I've seen these photographers mentioned above credited EVERYWHERE. 90% of the verification surely checks out (rubble and diggers pics, easy peasy lemon squeazy), it's just this 10% messing with me and how it then morphs into enabling, empowering, triggering the full on emotive ai propagandists waiting in the wings with thousands of pieces of content. Regime and legacy media set it up, modern online propagandists knock it down. That's my opinion on what it feels like in the 2026 new year information landscape. Is this OSINT shenanigans? Am I being an OSINT wanker (I should stick to comedy, I do know that already)? @sentdefender @Osint613 @Osinttechnical and whoever else is out there... If getting past long time journalistic checks/balances and integrity happens once like this though, it will happen again and again and again throughout the year. It will do nothing except constantly oppress and harm the Iranian people inside and outside of the country. THAT is why I'm a sleepless dickhead at the moment. Where my 7k shekels at? Seriously haven't been given 'em since January and making videos on the highly depressing regime brutality. #IranRevolution2026#IranMassacre#FreeIran#iran @IranIntl_En @NUFDIran @Vahid would be good to have an opinion from as he posts so much graphic imagery from Iran...for years really.
