@HansFiene We just joined an LCMS church in early March and both of my babies were baptized. Not only did they not charge us anything, but they gave us over $100 in books, bibles, catechisms, as well as books for my children. We love our church family so much already. Soli Deo Gloria!

@redeemed_zoomer The pentateuch is mythological and composite. The exodus never happened. The historical Jesus was a crucified criminal. The gospels are anonymous. There are only 7 authentic pauline letters. The rest of the new testament is a forgery.

The murder of a baby in the womb is not “morally complex.” It’s evil. So is this woman. So are women bishops.

@WmWeedon @becomelutheran This was one of the best videos I’d seen when reverting back to Christianity. Your video on orthodoxy, as well, was particularly great. Still in the ACNA, for now… lots of difficult aspects to make a leap possible right now.

@InspiringPhilos @sarkinnomaa Jesus walking on water is Yahweh conquering Leviathan, creating order out of chaos. Every time the ocean is mentioned, it is a symbol of chaos.

He’s right though. Your list says “Most Influential Persons in History.” Person. Not God. You accepted the framing by celebrating the list and only got upset when a Muslim pointed it out. Also, Muhammad ﷺ is #3 and he never claimed to be anything other than a man. No divine nature. No resurrection mythology. No church councils needed to explain who he was. Just a man whose influence is so undeniable that even non-Muslims rank him above almost every figure in human history.

@CostaKeith79 @Daedalus_Sy @LutheranAnswers You're strawmanning our view of faith. Faith is not just knowledge of God(notitia) or agreement with God(assensus) but fiducia. A deep level of faith and reliance upon Christ. Merely believing in Christ is not faith in Christ.

@JrLesage @javierperd2604 Luther didn't start his own religion and your church says that Muslims can go to heaven. But then you have retards that say Protestants are going to hell. Also, are you gonna admit you were wrong on the two tier canon view not existing?

@Darko_FPS @javierperd2604 Did St. Jerome start his own religion? Did St. Jerome question get answered and did he not accept the answer and stay Catholic? You're point is wrong because he did accept the answer and stayed Catholic unlike Luther who took and still take people to hell

@JrLesage @javierperd2604 "As then the Church reads Judith, Tobit, and the books of Maccabees, but does not admit them among the canonical Scriptures, so let it also read these two volumes [Wisdom and Sirach] for the edification of the people, not to give authority to doctrines of the Church." -St Jerome.

@javierperd2604 The early church councils in the late 4th century, the recognized Christian canon was generally established at 73 books. This 73-book canon was later reaffirmed by the Council of Trent, while Protestant traditions later adopted 66 books. there was never two tier until Luther

Your pseudo-authoritative, condescending, and boastful tone is not impressive, but let's put that aside and put your intellect to work. How do you manage this statement directly from our Lord and Savior's mouth? Matthew 16;17 Jesus replied, “Blessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by my Father in heaven. 18 And I tell you that you are Peter,[b] and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of Hades[c] will not overcome it. 19 I will give you the keys of the kingdom of heaven; whatever you bind on earth will be[d] bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be[e] loosed in heaven.”

@dsolimano @BootlegBishop @javierperd2604 The RCC only officially canonized them in 1546. Jerome(and many RC's at the time of the reformation) viewed them as useful for self edification but not useful for doctrine or dogma, which was also Luthers view. When Luther translated the Bible into German they were included
