One year in, I’m still an optimist. Because I’ve seen what’s possible when we work together-taking on deadly drugs, protecting kids, standing up for seniors, and building safer communities in every corner of the Commonwealth and everywhere in between.

I was proud to stand with my law enforcement partners today to share the success of an operation that got millions of dollars of fentanyl off the streets. This work is dangerous, but we have to keep our foot on the gas to make sure our communities are safe.

“Fentanyl continues to be an easily obtainable and highly profitable product of choice for predatory traffickers.” That’s exactly why we keep targeting them. Last month, I talked about the need to speak out against antisemitism when it is seen. Today, I feel compelled to do just that. The mailing deployed in a Lehigh/Bucks county state senate race was antisemitic. Its language and use of an Israeli flag that targeted a Jewish state senator inappropriately suggests disloyalty to America. That is the type of antisemitic action and rhetoric that must be called out, condemned and shunned.

Last night, a dedicated group of people came together to share the reality of AI deepfakes and how they are being used by and against our children. I am so grateful to have been in this space with brave families sharing their personal stories, and to have learned from so many experts and leaders on these issues. Pennsylvania is leading the way in protecting our children from deepfakes that can cause long-lasting harm, and I am proud that my office can set that example.

Tonight, we honored five of Pennsylvania’s bravest, at the 31st FOP Memorial Service, remembering the officers who lost their lives in 2025. Last year was a tragic year for the Pennsylvania law enforcement community. As heartbreaking as it was to have to say goodbye to these brave heroes, our part is not done. We must resolve ourselves to finish the work that these officers will never get to finish.
