I am the VP of Workforce Economics at Oracle. We are worth $420 billion. On Tuesday, we sent 30,000 employees a termination email at 6 AM. Not 9. Not business hours. Six in the morning. They woke up to the word "eliminated." The email came from "Oracle Leadership." Not a manager. Not a name. Oracle Leadership. It said: "We are grateful for your dedication, hard work, and the impact you have made." By the time they read the word "grateful," their access to email, files, and Slack had already been revoked. It is a pay cut that requires a passport. The visa is tied to the employer. If the worker leaves, they lose their legal right to remain in the country. If they negotiate, they risk the same. If they organize, the sponsor declines to renew. That is retention. Our revenue this quarter is $17.2 billion. Up 22%. Net income up 95%. We have $553 billion in committed future contracts. Up 325%. These are not the numbers of a company that needs to lay anyone off. We took a $2.1 billion restructuring charge. That is the cost of the gratitude. It frees up $8 to $10 billion in annual cash flow. That cash services $156 billion in AI data centers we are building. Starting 2028, OpenAI pays us $82 million per day. Larry Ellison is worth $189 billion. He pledged $51 billion in Oracle shares as collateral for the Stargate AI venture. Announced at the White House. The stock rose 4% on Tuesday. The day of the 6 AM emails. Wall Street did not see 30,000 people. They saw the margin. Amazon laid off 30,000 since October. Filed thousands of H-1B petitions in the same window. This is not one company. This is the operating model. Fire the salary. Keep the role. Fill it with someone whose legal right to remain in the country depends on your continued sponsorship. Pay them less. They will not complain. They cannot. One employee's father worked at Oracle for 20 years. No phone call. No meeting. An email at 6 AM and a locked laptop. The role is still open. The people we fired are free. The people we hired are not.

LDL isn’t the ambulance, it’s the traffic. When there are too many apoB particles, some get into the wall and stay there—and that’s how the fire starts. Lower the traffic, fewer crashes. That’s not theory, that’s trials, genetics, and pathology all agreeing. - oh, and inflammation can cause the cap of the plaque to rupture, so think of cholesterol as the TNT and inflammation as the fuse. Your three questions have answers. You just don't like them. 1. Yes. ApoB particles retained in the arterial wall cause atherosclerosis. PCSK9 loss-of-function carriers have lifelong low ApoB and 88% less coronary heart disease. 2. Familial hypercholesterolemia patients have lifelong high ApoB and die of heart attacks in their 30s and 40s. That is not cholesterol causing heart disease. That is ApoB causing heart disease. Yes. The CTT Collaboration: 170,000 patients, 26 trials, 22% reduction in major cardiovascular events per 1 mmol/L LDL-C lowered. FOURIER: 27,564 patients, 20% MACE reduction. ODYSSEY OUTCOMES: 18,924 patients, 15% reduction in major events. Every trial, same direction, dose-response relationship intact. 3. Low cholesterol from statin treatment is not the same as low cholesterol from terminal illness. You are conflating reverse causation with drug effect. Sick people have low cholesterol because disease lowers it. That does not mean lowering cholesterol makes you sick. The word "toxic" requires a risk-benefit calculation. You skipped the benefit half.

The Indian Government is launching a nationwide Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) vaccination campaign. One of the best decisions from public healthcare perspective. The HPV is responsible for 98% of cervical cancer cases. Cervical cancers are the second most common type of cancer among women in India. Just like Sweden, actively working to eliminate cervical cancer by 2027 through a robust national HPV vaccination program for school-aged children, introduced in 2010 and expanded to boys in 2020. A catch-up programme was launched in 2021, targeting girls born 1994-1999 to bridge the vaccination gap. The program is aimed to prevent HPV-related cancers, including cervical, oropharyngeal, and anal cancers. We should support this campaign because it helps the eliminate a dreadful disease from the future of girls in the country. On the other hand, do not bother about Gayatri here. She is not a doctor. She is a Homeopath. Homeopaths and Chiropractors are among the biggest contributors towards vaccine hesitancy and anti-science sentiments. Because they are pseudoscience peddlers.
