We've resolved an issue where Destiny 2 would begin installing after pre-ordering Marathon on Steam. We have also resolved an issue where Collector's Edition owners would receive an error when attempting to activate their game code on Steam.

@ProtsmanPanther @MarathonDevTeam Preordering Marathon grants items in Destiny, which are downloaded as DLCs. When you acquire a DLC that requires a game to use it then steam will install the associated game.

@Bluesfan1234 Congratulations you looked at the steam pages full catalogue, which doesn't differentiate between stand-alone content and packs that contain that content. Here let me fix your notes for you. It's $70 for everything except EoF, which is another $40, so $110 for everything.

Many thanks to all who understand my “momentum” post from before the stream was from a place of wanting to do good by this community, playerbase, and team. Bummer another word/phrase will be used to mock me directly and personally, but I’d rather that than folks hounding other team members directly who are trying to solve the problems. Speaking for myself, I truly do hope we shift and build momentum. I hope we kick ass and put out awesome fucking content. I understand that words don’t mean much when folks desire action. “We’re listening” needs to be “we’re doing” and “we’ve done.” Team is jamming. Things won’t be fixed overnight with a roadmap or with a single change. We’ve got lots of work to do. Hopefully, update after update, we get things to where we want them to be - and beyond that. I hope for a day where we are once again celebrating the new stuff. The universe, the loot, the community, and more. Not just talking about a hotfix to get us closer to the game feeling fun again. Destiny, compared to other modern MMO, has less then 1/3 content for equal or greater costs.

@ArbieArbitrarix @wingedwolf94 Yeah but compared to other fandoms furry does have alot higher concentrations of nsfw most furries openly post porn and even frown upon sfw spaces so yeah furry fandom is primarily nsfw that shouldn't be near schools so i support a furry ban for kids

Maybe I'm paranoid but... I have a nagging concern that we might start seeing "furry content" bans soon in the US.

@lilshark_187 @A_dmg04 @destiny_thememe @MyNameIsByf Someone's not reading their lore; Outbreak has a self contained, self sustaining micro SIVA engine that has only enough power to supply the gun. It's not powerful enough to replicate outside of the nanites we fire from it. Further, the Warminds are dead.

We isolated him to the labs so he couldn't do something like that, though.

We destroyed the Siva Replicator during RoI and Rasputin was the only thing that could actually create and control Siva. With him now being dead/offline Earth no longer has any way of producing more (unless we have some golden age tech capable).

@KnightOfRazgriz @A_dmg04 @destiny_thememe SIVA isn't a person, it's a collection of microscopic machines that were eradicated during the SIVA crisis. With no Warminds present to reactivate the Exodus SIVA Engines there's no way SIVA could come back. Maya Sundaresh worked for Ishtar, not Braytech, so she'd use Quicksilver

destiny is genuinely a tragedy it has the framework for potentially the best game ever made yet the devs constantly push in the complete opposite direction coupled with higher ups milking it for every penny and dime
