Senator grassley is the long time nonpartisan champion of whistleblowers in Congress. There is grassley at 1 and there is unfortunately no 2 or 3. Just grassley. For a reporter or lawyer to suggest otherwise only shows they know nothing about what they are taking about.

I cannot believe a hack reporter from the NY Times has the gall to include this quote in a hatchet job story about @ChuckGrassley, the Patron Saint of Whistleblowers. Both the NY Times and this author’s prior outlet, the Washington Post, have taken every opportunity to undermine our whistleblower clients. And who was the “champion among congressional Democrats” when our clients from the FBI and IRS were being attacked left and right? There was none. Show me a SINGLE congressional Democrat standing up for a Republican whistleblower. A SINGLE one. They DO NOT EXIST. Grassley has bucked his party to stand up for Democrat whistleblowers again and again. He’s the biggest defender whistleblowers have ever had, bar none. These attacks are outrageous, and those perpetuating them in the media should be absolutely ashamed of their hypocrisy.
