🚨FROM THE LDC FAIRNESS COALITION TO THE PUBLIC. We received a late night call from the IGP, through Mr. Nanoka Moses, requesting that we postpone our planned peaceful protest. After careful consideration, we agreed to do so. But let no one mistake this for giving up. We shall continue to speak out, organize, and peacefully demand to be heard until justice is done. The sacrifices made by petitioners and their families are simply too great to ignore. Parents have shared sad stories of selling property, borrowed money, and exhausted their savings to support a legal education. Years of hard work, time, and money cannot be recovered. We never wanted this to become such a difficult struggle. We did not set out to create conflict or turn this into a matter of life and death. We simply want fairness. We want a system that listens and treats people justly. We shall not accept a situation where hardworking graduates are unfairly denied through unfair rules the opportunity to practise the profession they have spent years preparing for. Today, the protest is postponed. The cause is not. Until our voices are heard and meaningful solutions are found, we shall continue to stand together and peacefully advocate for what is right.
