It is very disappointing to see certain officers being targeted by social media groups who have little to no understanding of how the system actually works. Take officers like Udayachandran IAS, Davidson IPS, and Senthil Velan IPS. These individuals are well-known for their integrity. You might disagree with their opinions, but they have done their absolute very best to contribute to the system. In fact, they often earned the contempt of their own colleagues because they were pushing for reforms. The reality is that in a stagnant system, nobody really likes the person trying to change it. We need to remember that officers are not politicians; they are professionals performing the duties they were entrusted with. I want to see major reforms in bureaucracy but that is systemic and a requirement for India to grow. I mock politicians or will criticize policies, but I try to be honest and consistent here when it comes to bureaucrats. In fact, when TVK makes the right moves, like their appointments for CMO Secretaries Dr. Senthil and Laxmi Priya, or selecting Asra Garg as the Intelligence Head, I am the first to acknowledge and appreciate those choices. I have always had high opinion of these officers, and that will never change. It is just who they are and I am happy Vijay made those right choices. The same goes for their selection of Vijay Narayan as Advocate General and John Sathyan as Public Prosecutor; those were excellent, professional decisions as well. Particularly, John Sathyan, Senior Advocate comes with rich trial experience and will be an amazing asset to the Govt. in the Court. The bottom line is that we shouldn't politicize everything. If you want to target someone, target the politicians or the system by criticizing departments that aren't meeting expectations, not individual officers with clean track record. Do not turn every administrative role into a political battleground as it just doesn't help anyone, including @TVKVijayHQ

@Deva00000001 I don’t think it is bias; rather, it is a practical consideration. A candidate selected at a younger age is likely to serve for a longer period than an older candidate.

In my view, age plays a significant role in the UPSC CSE interview. If a 26-year-old aspirant and a 32-year-old aspirant appear before the interview board with similar levels of presentation, knowledge, confidence, and other qualities assessed by the panel, the younger candidate may have an advantage and is likely to receive slightly higher marks. Therefore, once an aspirant crosses the age of 28, it becomes even more important to focus on securing maximum marks in the UPSC Mains examination. #UPSC

My TL is full of this poor girl’s video..😥 Who’s gonna tell her..?! If a man/woman truly loves someone, they never let their loved one suffer this badly even after fights and long waits.. They never leave, always find a way to get back, forgive, and never betray or cheat. The guy who abandoned her is probably happy with another woman rn..🤦🏻‍♀️ She should accept that and move on. Real love never leaves you broken and waiting forever.. 🫡

@chnmharish With all due respect to the women, who said the guy didn't give a closure or real response? Did u happen to talk to him or witness these? How the F can u call this one sided when the guy even genuinely respected her, spoke to her and asked her to do these when she met him?

There are countless Yaminis in this world. What she is expressing is not toxicity, it is also a form of love. In the show #NeeyaNaana, a woman named #Yamini spoke about how she kept searching for the man she loved and repeatedly asked him to accept her. Whenever things reached a breaking point, she even contacted his friends, requesting them to convince him to speak to her. From one perspective, this may seem like harassment. But from another, it is still love. Yamini is unable to let go of her first love, a love that came searching for her for the very first time. What she is holding onto is not just a person, but a feeling she believes is rare and precious. Many people would try to protect something like that till the very end. We can easily say she has her own life, her own job, and should move forward. But when someone is emotionally trapped within a small circle, it is not that simple. In such a state, even the next opportunity, or even the person standing right beside her, may not be visible to her. What came through in Yamini's words was deep longing. Only those who have felt such longing will truly understand her wait. I've been through situations like this myself. When the I refused to talk, even my colleagues would end up receiving calls. I tried explaining everything, but there was no effort to understand from her side. Calling, asking someone to speak, trying to get them to open up, or even going to their workplace to ask for a reason, these aren't automatically toxic. They often come from a mix of pain, anger, and genuine love. At the same time, this isn't just about the person who keeps reaching out. It's equally about the one who chooses to stay silent. When someone enters your life, expresses love, and then suddenly walks away without explanation, it's only natural for the other person to question, seek answers, and even try to fix things. In such situations, the least one can do is either give a clear reason or honestly tell the other person to move on. In Yamini's case, what stands out to me is that the effort seems one sided. The movement is entirely from her, while there's no real response or closure from the other side. Yes, we can advise her to move on, to focus on the next phase of life. But she has to be ready for that. Until then, her struggle continues within that confined emotional space. Her actions are not necessarily wrong, nor should everything be labelled as toxic. Losing patience at times or fighting to hold onto something you value deeply does not automatically become toxic behavior. If Yamini can find a balance, with a little more patience and composure, she may eventually come out of that emotional loop. What she needs now is not force, but clarity, calmness, and self understanding. At the same time, if she feels the need to express everything within her, even through an emotional outburst, that too can serve as a release. Sometimes, that moment of breaking is what brings understanding. As Gopinath said, there are many Yaminis in this world. But what makes this Yamini different is that she is trying to hold onto what she believes is hers. Every woman carries a sense of inner detachment and strength within her. When that awakens, she begins to understand herself, and that realization will define her next step in life. If Yamini reaches that state, that alone is enough. And we can hope that she does.

This is a photo of Nisha Ghimire, a former model and actress from Nepal. The image on the right was shared on Instagram on 14 September 2019, while the one on the left was taken on 8 June 2021 at Norvic International Hospital in Kathmandu. Both show the same person, Nisha Ghimire, who once proudly represented Nepal. In 2018, Nisha was at the peak of her career. A rising star in modeling and acting, she was in high demand. Brands competed to sign her as their ambassador, and prominent figures from Nepali and Indian politics and entertainment sought her attention. She was the talk of the town, and everyone wanted to be part of her circle.

+ I don't see any 'no parking' zone there too. If it is so, kindly explain why an auto stand alone is allowed there, if its hindering the traffic. The road is already broad enough to accommodate all vehicles and no traffic jams have happened over there at any time of the day. +
