🚀 BIG UPDATE ON MADAI LABS 🧬 Today we’re releasing TWO major new features for the platform: ⚡ qpADM Merger You can now upload your own raw DNA kit and directly merge it into: • AADR V62 / V66 (2M SNPs) • Human Origins datasets Your merged kit becomes usable across: • qpAdm • qpWave • F-stats • DATES • qpAdm Rotator and more. This means you can finally model your own ancestry against ancient populations like published academic samples. 🔥 🧬 Superkit Upload Tested with multiple companies? You can now combine up to 4 raw DNA kits into ONE stronger kit for higher SNP coverage. Supported: • 23andMe • AncestryDNA • MyHeritage • LivingDNA • FTDNA Higher coverage = better: ✅ Y-DNA prediction ✅ G25 simulation ✅ qpAdm merging ✅ Ancient DNA comparisons Everything is integrated directly into the platform and remains FREE. 👉 Upload your kit and try it yourself: madailabs.de

@Dfire8801 @wacistwigga You also get a discount on Yfull if you're a YSEQ customer. Join the Yfull group on YSEQ, then just have to provide YSEQ kit number to Yfull.

@Dfire8801 @wacistwigga YSEQ has a paid option for FASTQ to HG19 mapping. That's how I got my HG19 BAM. One can also use useGalaxy platform for FASTQ to HG19 mapping, if one wants to DIY.

@Dfire8801 @wacistwigga If you're willing to pay extra, Sequencing(dot)com will give back results very quickly. I got mine within 2 weeks from the date my sample reached them. I asked YSEQ, they use 150 PE reads using MGI machines, same as Sequencing.

@Operand0707 @HeraldOfRome You are “rotating” two completely different sources that completely represent different populations, literally comparing apples to oranges. Rotating samples more like comparing green apples to red apples.

@Dfire8801 @HeraldOfRome You guys never perform rotational analysis, which is suggested by academics like Lazaridis. You can make a model of Bergamo as being modern Turkish with a very good p-value and everything; it means nothing.

Heatmap showing the modern populations genetically most similar to DNA samples from the Mycenaean elite, the Homeric heroes. As you can see, they were closer genetically to Europeans than to Sub Saharan Africans

lupita who has been targeted by racists and misogynists since the casting announcement in the name of “historical accuracy” has more connection to greece as an east african woman than any of the anglo saxons who play greeks in hollywood movies😭😭

@Operand0707 @HeraldOfRome Crete EMBA is not even steppe admixed, and isn’t remotely a representation of Roman Greek ancestry in this case. “Italy Imperial o Anatolia” is Anatolian + Mesopotamian + Mycenaean (Mycenaean is steppe admixed), Use Sicially LBA/IA or Italy IA republic instead of Italy BA btw

@Dfire8801 @HeraldOfRome Terrible model. RomanImperial_Anatolia fails against other Greek targets and all deep Anatolian profiles fail against heavily admixed Greco-Anatolian profiles. The Langobard % is not plausible in the South and the Berber ancestry is too high.

@DanTabin @IllyrianJ2bL283 I’ll try that. Originally I was using Estonia BA or Baltic Hunter gather outgroups for a medieval Slavic source, and there were negative weights. On G25/SmartPCA he was clustering with pre Slavic Balkan populations.

@philosofveritas @illyriusx I'm not sure. Ask your own scholars who came to these conclusions. Literally on DATES you can model shtike as a two way mixture of IA west Balkan with an Anatolian related proxy (Had to use Croatia EIA because other sources were outputting crazy results)

@Dfire8801 @illyriusx Fourth time you respond but not to the actual point. Mdv ”albanians” are on the Daco-Thracian + Avar IBD cluster according to McCall et al 2025. Not the Illyrian. Why is that the case, if they’re overwhelmingly Cinamak?

On the topic of medieval Albanians sharing IBD with Avars from Hungary, This dude would rather assume (by his logic) that two separate groups came together in Hungary to artificially form Roman Balkan profiles, and cannot even give a historical basis on this mixture. rather than agreeing to the existence of Avars that have Roman Balkan profiles.

@philosofveritas @illyriusx You have literally referenced Paleorevenge twice, and mcall once. You trust random people on eupedia that fit your narrative more than academic sources. I already responded this too but you didn't read it x.com/Dfire8801/stat… x.com/Dfire8801/stat…

You very often talk about how Shtike shares IBD with avars from hungary, which are known to have slavic and east asian ancestry. We literally debated earlier on the existence of IA balkan ancestry in the region if you don't remember, and you just sent a picture of shtike passing with slavic. So don't play stupid
