This line would be shorter than the red line even without the expansion and provide 10x the benefit of the red line expansion.

@Motor1com So for the US just Jeep, RAM and Fiat since Peugeot doesn’t exist here unless they’re planning to bring it back again

Stellantis is focusing on the four brands that "really matter." According to CEO Antonio Filosa, that means Jeep, Ram, Peugeot, and Fiat. Dodge and Chrysler are not on the nice list. Read more: motor1.com/news/794138/st…

And we can add all of the #Chicago metro area to the Winter Weather Advisory ⚠️ Now in effect from 1Am to 1PM Monday Only 1”-3” of #snow but it will fall sideways with winds to 45mph

As suspected, the winter weather advisory is now up for areas along and west of an Evanston-Plainfield-Streator line (purple area). In effect from 10PM Sunday thru 1PM Monday. This follows the slight risk for severe weather outlook in place today until about 9PM Additionally the winter Storm Watch west of I39 including Rockford has been upped to a warning, and it will border on blizzard conditions The city of #Chicago is not in the advisory area but should still get clipped with an inch or two on the north side to a sloppy grass covering south of Madison St High wind advisories area wide as winds by afternoon behind this initial rain/storm line crank up very quickly, preceding a second line of storms in/ahead of the cold front crossing this evening. These storms can push some severe wind gusts near or just over 70mph in pockets

🚨 MAJOR BLIZZARD WARNINGS EXPAND ACROSS THE UPPER MIDWEST 🌨️❄️💨 A powerful late-season winter storm is gearing up to hammer much of the Upper Midwest with blizzard conditions, heavy snow, and dangerous winds from Sunday into Monday. Large areas of Iowa, Minnesota, northwest Illinois, and much of Wisconsin are under alerts as the storm rapidly intensifies. What’s expected: • ❄️ Heavy snowfall: Many areas could see 10–30 inches, with localized spots approaching 3 feet or more in parts of Minnesota, Wisconsin, and Michigan. • 💨 Blizzard winds: Gusts of 50–70 mph could create whiteout conditions and massive blowing and drifting snow. • 🌨️ Extreme snowfall rates: Bands could produce 1–3 inches per hour, quickly burying roads and highways. • 🚗 Travel becoming impossible: Visibility could drop near zero at times, making travel dangerous to impossible. Meteorologists warn this storm could affect millions across the Midwest and Great Lakes, with some forecasts suggesting it may even strengthen into a bomb cyclone–type system as it moves east. ⚠️ Timing: • Saturday night: Snow begins spreading across the Plains and Upper Midwest • Sunday: Blizzard conditions intensify across MN, IA, WI, and northern IL • Sunday night – Monday: Peak winds, heavy snow, and whiteout conditions across the Great Lakes 💥 This storm is part of a massive March “megastorm” impacting nearly 200 million people with blizzards in the north and severe storms farther south. ⸻ ⚠️ SUMMARY: A large swath of the Upper Midwest is under blizzard warnings with heavy snow, 50–70 mph winds, and whiteout conditions expected. Parts of Iowa, Minnesota, northwest Illinois, and Wisconsin could see historic snowfall totals and extremely dangerous travel conditions through Monday. ⸻ ❄️🌨️💨 #BlizzardWarning #MidwestWeather #WinterStorm #SnowStorm #Blizzard #WIwx #MNwx #IAwx #ILwx #Whiteout #WinterStormIona #WeatherAlert #MidwestBlizzard

Taking a look at the probability for a foot or more of snow we are seeing widespread 80-95% chances across E. Minnesota and Wisconsin through Monday. The map here from Synoptic Weather colors all areas at a 50% chance or higher of 12"+ of snow. One of the biggest storms of the winter season this weekend!

1135am: A Moderate Risk is now in place across portions of Illinois and Indiana today, with significant long tracked tornadoes and very large hail the main hazards. Storms may start as early as 2pm, but the stoms will peak around 5-7pm this evening with tornado potential and then transition to a widespread damaging hail threat after 7pm through midnight across all of northern Illinois. The tornado risk may continue well past 7pm this evening. This is a very dangerous situation setting up across Illinois, have multiple ways to receive warnings!!! #ilwx

9pm: The latest high resolution model runs have just been updated this evening and continue to show a very volatile environment across Illinois on Tuesday. The warm front consistently on the models stalls out around I-80 and that will be the cutoff for the main tornado threat on Tuesday. Along and north of I-80, very large hail is the biggest threat (quarter to baseball size hail) with storms Tuesday evening. Along and south of the warm front, several tornadoes (some potentially strong) and very large hail (quarter to baseball size) are the main hazards. North of the warm front, very large hail (quarter to baseball size) is the main hazard. #ilwx
