The fucktard screaming for transparency admits he had footage that was hidden for twenty years. So instead of releasing it for free like he demands that the government does, he gives it to a director and requires it to be used in a “for profit” film.

Last year, right before we went to the hospital for our 2nd baby, a random family showed up at our house in Texas.
We hadn’t listed our home on Airbnb — someone took our Zillow photos and put it up. Had to break the bad news to the Airbnb guests that their weekend booking didn’t exist.
I spent multiple days trying to get @Airbnb to take down the listing. They refused, instead asking me to provide our deed and other documentation, which they said would then be shared with the fraudulent host. 3 other families showed up across those days, each one with their travel plans ruined.
I could not for the life of me get someone at Airbnb to act like a human instead of following a script. Make no mistake — that kind of unhelpfulness is intentional and designed. The constant switching of support representative, the same pasted script each time, none of that is accidental. So I agree with this. Would absolutely rather have had AI vs customer support lemmings.
When Airbnb works, it’s magical. But today, I avoid it unless I absolutely have to. I hope you hear the guests worldwide @bchesky and go back into founder mode on this.

On Sunday evening, I had the worst experience I’ve ever had with @Airbnb. A few hours before arriving in Hamburg for OMR, a conference that brings more than 70,000 people to the city, my booking was suddenly cancelled. I immediately contacted customer support, expecting them to help me find another place. Instead, they told me they couldn’t assist because “Airbnb didn’t cancel your booking, the host did.” Excuse me? This happened around 11 PM. I spent the entire night on calls with customer support and did not sleep at all. At around 1 AM, things got even worse. I received a message saying I was no longer allowed to make bookings on Airbnb because my account had been flagged as potentially dangerous. I honestly couldn’t believe what was happening. I was traveling with my three-month-old baby. I explained that multiple times. It made no difference. No meaningful help. No travel credits. My account was blocked. And by the time I arrived in Hamburg, I had to scramble to find a hotel on my own. The ironic part? There was no AI involved in this experience. Only humans following scripts and passing me from one person to another. And, Brian, I genuinely wish I had been dealing with AI instead. It would have been faster, more logical, and probably far more empathetic than the people I spoke with that night. What shocked me most was realizing how few real alternatives there are to Airbnb. At midnight I was completely on my own trying to solve a problem that should never have happened in the first place. Worst customer experience I’ve had in years.

That’s quite rare! BYE BYE LOVE isn’t available to stream, rent, or buy digitally anywhere and it’s never been released on Blu-ray. Unless you have an old VHS tape, LaserDisc, or this DVD from two decades ago, you can’t watch this movie!
It was originally released by 20th Century Fox, so the rights now reside with Disney.

We don’t create legislation around anecdotal evidence, the most extreme situations or the one-offs. While you feel that MAID was good for your mother, that doesn’t negate the fact that it’s being abused, pushed and used without proper safeguards. No longer is it a tool for rare instances as it once was touted to be. I support a government willing to make these difficult stances.

My step mother used MAiD. I don’t know if she would have died within a year but I know she would have lost capacity to consent, advanced consent being also removed by this bill, I do know she was in pain every single moment of her life. I know her disease was going to kill her slowly and brutally. I know MAiD was what she wanted and the most peaceful way to go. This bill is not reflecting the reality of those who are dying from debilitating illness.

Dr @DrJosefWD with the utmost respect, I must disagree with the claim that antidepressant withdrawal can be worse than heroin withdrawal, a statement originally echoed by RFK Jr. You mentioned that individuals with brain injuries may experience severe withdrawal from antidepressants, but the same question applies to heroin withdrawal in such vulnerable populations.
As a physician who practices both Adult Psychiatry and Addiction Medicine, and someone who manages detox and rehabilitation in addition to psychiatric care, my clinical experience and the existing body of medical evidence do not support that comparison.
This is not to dismiss antidepressant discontinuation symptoms. They are real and medications should always be tapered carefully under psychiatric supervision. However, in real world clinical practice and based on current medical science, equating or suggesting they can be worse than heroin withdrawal is not an accurate or evidence based characterization.

Coming off antidepressants can be worse than heroin for some, taking years to recover. Doctors recommend a slow taper: no more than 5-10% per month, listening to your body and slowing down if severe withdrawal occurs.
