The City of Minneapolis is not involved in the federal operations being reported around Minnesota today, and as of 9:30 a.m., MPD has not been asked to assist with the execution of federal warrants.

This audit of the Governor Tim Walz’s Office, meant to confirm they’re following the most basic financial and administrative rules is damning. 😳 Here’s what it lays out: • Routine financial procedures weren’t followed. • Payments were late, payroll records didn’t match, and required paperwork wasn’t filed. • Receipts and documentation that should’ve been simple to produce were missing in case after case. • Internal controls were so weak the auditors had to issue twelve separate findings just to capture everything. • A significant amount of taxpayer money was unaccounted for funds that should have been instantly traceable. • Some employees were actually overpaid, and the office lacked the oversight systems to catch it. • Auditors also flagged spending tied directly to the Governor’s own activities expenses charged to public funds with little to no justification or documentation. Why hasn’t Tim Walz been arrested?

Today’s raids by state and federal law enforcement happened because our state agencies caught irregular behavior and reported it. That’s how the system is supposed to work, and our agencies will keep at it as long as there are fraudsters around to put behind bars.

Rep. James Comer has stated that his committee has conducted interviews with over 30 current and former whistleblowers from the Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS). Many of these individuals are Democrats. According to Comer, the Tim Walz administration retaliated against them when they tried to expose and halt widespread fraud in the state's social services programs.

Come again? This FBI and DOJ with our DHS partners drafted and executed every search warrant today. But go ahead and take credit for our work while we smoke out the fraud plaguing Minnesota under your governorship.
