The Assyrians are the oldest people in the world, older even then the Jewish nation, and they speak Aramaic, Christ's tongue. Their civilization predates Christianity itself. They built a Church that spread Christianity to China & India. What did we do to them? Iraq War -> Gone. 1.5m -> 150,000 in Iraq. Let alone Turkey, let alone Syria, let alone Iran. The Maronites are the oldest Christians in the Levant. The cedar that built the Temple is found in their homeland. They were the backbone of the French-Lebanese project, they were the pillar of its prosperity & stability. What happened to them? In 1932, they were a majority; now they are becoming a besieged minority, stuck between the IDF & Hezbollah. The Christian communities of Syria are a mosaic of the oldest Christians in the world. The Christians of Antioch. Aramaic speakers, Greek speakers, Arabic speakers. From Orthodox to Catholic to Syriac. Literally the land of the Apostles. What happened to them? Civil war (a proxy war). 2m in 2011 -> 500,000 today. Why are we allowing this to happen? Why does our conscience not ache? Why are we voting in "Christian" politicians who ignore the greatest tragedy in all of Christendom?

@ShaykhSulaiman Opening the Strait of Hormuz has now become one of Trump's main strategic objectives of the Iran War. The Strait of Hormuz was already open before Trump's preemptive strikes on Iran and his initiating of the war.

BREAKING: Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf: - The opening of the Strait of Hormuz, which was open before the Ramadan war, has become Trump's dream. - Hezbollah in Lebanon, which was constantly threatened with disarmament, is today an important and active part of the resistance, and the Iraqi resistance is fighting valiantly and astonishing the enemy. - The Houthis in Yemen have given a new breath to the resistance front by entering the war and are ready to achieve great surprises. - The war is now at its most critical moments, and the enemy, who claimed to have destroyed our air, naval, and missile forces, has made its goal the opening of the Strait of Hormuz. - The enemy is planning a ground attack, unaware that our armed forces are waiting for the Americans to enter so they can set fire to them and punish their regional partners. - We are in a major global war and must prepare ourselves for a long, difficult, and complex road until we reach the top. - After 30 days of aggression against Iran, the world accuses Trump of igniting a war without a goal, and he has no answer to public opinion about the war, and the evil of war has returned to those who started it. - We will not exit this war except with victory, and we will not allow enemies to exit the war without consolidating our power and making this war a lesson for every aggressor

Evangelicals are partly to blame for the collapse of Middle Eastern Christianity. They are the biggest supporter of wars which destroy Christians. But it goes way deeper than that. They view Christians like Assyrians in Iraq as a pawn to expand their footprint as "authentic" Christians. They can be so brazen that they even set up local organizations & try to convert *Apostolic Christians* to *their* brand of American Christianity. Imagine destroying an Apostolic, Aramaic speaking Christian community which is 2000 years old. Then setting up an NGO to convert them to Megachurch Protestantism through bribery & handouts. Isn't that insane?

Those who say Trump has no choice but to send ground troops to Iran, topple the regime, etc., or else risk surrending U.S. prestige/hegemony seem ignorant of history. How did Reagan respond to the Beirut barracks bombing (by Hezbollah)? Truman in Korea? Eisenhower in Vietnam? Bush I in Iraq? Whatever one thinks of the war, Trump obviously has options.

BREAKING: The US is preparing for a potential ground invasion into Iran that would last for up to 2 months, per the Washington Post. Details include: 1. Thousands of American soldiers are arriving in the Middle East for what could become a "dangerous new phase" of the war 2. Any invasion would involve raids by a mixture of Special Operations forces and conventional infantry troops, US officials said 3. President Trump has wavered between declaring that the war is winding down and threatening to amplify it 4. Discussions over the past month have touched upon the possible seizure of Kharg Island and raids into other coastal areas near the Strait of Hormuz The Iran War appears to be entering a new era.

If we lose Assyrians in Iraq, we lose a people from the *Old Testament* who are preserving *Aramaic*. If we lose Maronite Christians in Lebanon, we lose the last chance of culture in the Levant. If we lose Orthodoxy in Syria, we lose every last memory & legacy of Antioch.

The rise of such violent and naked anti Catholicism is something that should be taken seriously. This rhetoric against Catholics is growing more and more sinister and threatening.
Daniel Karbowitz@Dkarbowitz

Best news of this War is the cancellation of the idolater/Jew hatred fomenting Jerusalem @pontifex Catholic Church. Led by Cardinal Pizzabelly who from Oct 7 immediately was special pleading for Gazans/Hamas its terror proxy funded by Rome @UNRWA He should persona non grata in sovereign state of Israel. No Vatican senior official should be permitted in Jerusalem. Not One. Individual Catholic pagan victims of the Church can be allowed (it's s civil society) but the Vatican embassy, which allocates money to terror proxies and agitates against Jews, must be shut immediately. The nation state of the Vatican @pontifex is at WAR with Jewry. It's time the govt of Israel, defended Jewish lives and Jewish honor.

🚨🇮🇷🇺🇸 The U.S. Marine Corps just told its reservists (doctors, lawyers, teachers, accountants with weekend warrior training) to check their readiness for possible large-scale mobilisation linked to Iran. "Readiness will be assumed, not questioned." The active duty Marines just arrived on an amphibious assault ship. Now they're calling the reserves. @clashreport

So there'll definitely be a ground invasion. And Mark Levin is preparing the Fox News boomers with their new talking points to keep supporting the war. When he says "specialized units" that are "trained for a moment like this", this should not be assumed to be true. Especially with how many strategic blunders Trump has made so far. If he's wrong about that, no one should listen to Mark Levin ever again. This isn't a call you're allowed to get wrong.

Trump urged followers on Truth Social to watch a Fox News segment featuring conservative radio host Mark Levin where he went on tonight to make the argument for a U.S. ground invasion of Iran. Separately, the Washington Post reports, citing current and former U.S. defense officials, that the Pentagon is preparing for potential ground operations in Iran that could last weeks—and possibly even a couple of months.

Mark Levin makes the case for putting troops on the ground in Iran: "Why would we need troops on the ground? …We've got to get the uranium… [Iran] can make dirty bombs… You need to get to the uranium." (Trump urged his followers to watch this show hours ago on Truth Social.)

JONES: This small sect of evangelical Christianity is dying. Its dispensationalist theology died in Gaza and won’t last past the boomers. Young evangelicals are flocking to Catholic and Orthodox churches, horrified by their parents and pastors advocating ethno nationalist apartheid and genocide.

Dispensationalist theology peaked around the lead-up to George W. Bush's second term. Back then, the sentiment among Dispensationalist denominations was to vote for Dubya simply because he was Christian. One major Dispensationalist denomination is the Southern Baptist Convention (which Mike Huckabee belongs to). The SBC is the largest Protestant and second largest Christian body in the US. Their membership peaked in 2005 and has been declining ever since (down 23% from peak). At some point SBC Boomers like Mike Huckabee won't last forever and Dispensationalism will lose its grip.

@DavidFCarty @gc22gc @JasonJonesVPP John Kerry is Catholic. The Dispensationalist denominations (like Southern Baptists) don't call Catholics "Christians" or call themselves "Protestants." To them, it's just Catholic vs "Christian" And many Dispensationalists hate Catholics and don't consider them Christian.

@DougVegas @gc22gc @JasonJonesVPP John Kerry is also a Christian; one who volunteered for Vietnam and was highly decorated. So voting for Bush had nothing to do with his Christianity and all due to his 'shoot first, ask questions later' bravado.

TLDR: Fmr Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant, in an article for Bari Weiss' Free Press, says the US should seize Kharg Island. "Yes, there are risks," Gallant acknowledges. "Any operation to seize Kharg would require thousands of troops, sustained air and naval support, and detailed intelligence, and it would carry a real and expected cost in human life." Nonetheless, it's a risk he's willing to take (with American soldiers' lives).

NEW — A growing group of House Republicans are warning of devastating political backlash if Trump puts US troops on the ground in Iran war “We lose 60 to 70 seats,” one House Republican said GOP Rep. Eli Crane and more House Rs are now *publicly* warning against American servicemembers on the ground as tensions rise and thousands are being deployed “My biggest concern this whole time is that this would turn into another long Middle Eastern war,” Crane told @politico “Though I don’t want to try and take away any of the president’s ability to carry out this operation, I know a lot of our supporters and a lot of members of Congress are very concerned,” he added. politi.co/40ZoIpa via @politico
