@ScotExpress @TerfyMcTerfy What a surprise! Not. It was clear that he didn’t stand for election to help the people of Scotland - of course not! All he wants is to wang on about gender and sex, and encourage folk to break the law. Everyone who voted for him should be ashamed.

@owenjonesjourno Trans women are men. If men are so dangerous to be around, why do you expect women to put up with men in our toilets and changing rooms??

If trans women use men’s toilets, they will be subjected to humiliation, abuse and violence. Anyone with any sense knows this. Which is why in practice trans women will not use men’s toilets, and will just increasingly be driven out of society.

Single-sex spaces - such as changing rooms and toilets - must be used on the basis of biological sex, new guidance from the equalities watchdog has confirmed. bbc.co.uk/news/articles/…

@SkyNews The absolute cheek of that man thinking he can speak for women! He has stolen medals, race wins and prize money from women all his life. He is a man and should never have been allowed to compete in the female category. @SkyNews - inaccurate, misleading reporting. do better.

1/ Dr Natacha Kennedy, a lecturer at Goldsmiths, has been celebrating the death of Jenni Murray, the highly-respected former presenter of BBC Woman's Hour. Kennedy wishes for Jenni Murray's grave to be treated as a 'gender-neutral bathroom'. Kennedy is an important figure in academic trans activism in the UK.

@adamfare1996 Sandie Peggie had given 30 years of unblemished service. Theo Upton lied about Peggie, l lied about his encounters with her, and apparently doesn’t know what sex is. He is a man and should never have been allowed to change in the women’s changing rooms. Good riddance.

Forget free speech in Australia, you can even be found guilty of vilification for truth speech! I simply took information posted in the public domain by a football club and Football NSW and reposted it. I asked basic questions like "why are males in female competitions?" and "why is a male the top goal scorer in the female competition?" Men are not women. Males do not belong in women's sport. If I can be found guilty of vilification for speaking the truth, so could you. So could journalists. So could politicians. So could anyone who refuses to bow down on the altar of any radical ideology.

@JournalismSEEN @VarsityUK Shame on you, @VarsityUK. ‘There has been no evidence of the group having a strong support base among current students.’ Perhaps if @Cambridge_Uni was more welcoming to sex-realist students, women might feel safe to say that they want to be members of this new society! 🤷🏼‍♀️

Every single time a male with a male only DSD makes an international team he displaces a female from his nation. This has zero to do with race or colour & everything to do with women’s rights to fair sport for… women. No one is stopping anyone from competing. Just compete fair.

@ImanesDFront @sharrond62 Semenya is a man with a DSD. He should never have competed against women. He’s a massive cheat who knew since puberty that he was male - No periods.

@sharrond62 Where should they compete? They're all on a female level. Even the fastest and most successful woman with dsd - Caster Semenya was behind three best women. It's not fair to send them to the men's category. And don't talk about mediocre men again. It's not helpful.

@Miguel640283347 @VictoriaCoren I see little tension between trans rights and women's rights. What I see instead is a manufactured culture war. There is always common ground - if you look for it. And room for kindness, compassion and treating people with dignity and respect.

@RachelTaylorMP @EHRC Have u even thought about women’s rights here? Your article shows a total lack of understanding of the SC judgement. People are expected to obey the law - by not stealing, by going to the correct toilet, by stopping at red traffic lights, etc. We don’t need to be policed.

My letter in the Guardian about why the @EHRC's guidance on sex and gender is unworkable and goes far beyond what the Supreme Court judgement actually said.

@Steven_Swinford You are actually the political editor of the Times?? That’s embarrassing. Grammatical errors, wrong commas, missing full stops. And of course, the complete failure to recognise that women have rights, and that it’s not a human right to access opposite-sex changing rooms. 🙄🙄🙄

Breaking: The government’s treatment of trans people in the UK could breach the European Convention on Human Rights, Europe’s human rights watchdog has claimed Michael O’Flaherty, the human rights commissioner for the Council of Europe - which oversees the ECHR - has written to Shabana Mahmood, the home secretary, and MPs setting out his concerns after visiting the UK to observe human rights issues. He warned that trans guidance introduced across different areas of society in the UK following the ruling in April by the UK Supreme Court — declaring that the definition of a woman must be based on biological sex — may breach the ECHR 'It should be ensured that steps taken towards implementing the Supreme Court judgment avoid a situation where a person’s legal gender recognition is voided of practical meaning, to the extent that it leaves trans people in an unacceptable ‘intermediate zone 'It is also to be recalled that not all trans people wish to obtain legal gender recognition, and in reality simply live according to their gender identity 'This does not in any way diminish their right to be treated with dignity, to be protected from discrimination, and to be able to participate in all areas of everyday life' thetimes.com/uk/politics/ar…

@WoodwarddianneJ Absolute nonsense. Everyone with a DSD is still either male or female. And the incidence is about 0.018%. Having a DSD means that you have a variation in your anatomy/chromosomes; it doesn’t mean that you are a third sex!!!

@sianberry @BrightonHoveCC You are a disgrace. Worse, a stupid, wilfully blind disgrace. Women are allowed to get together and talk about things that affect them. How dare you blame women for this and not the violent men who can’t bear to let women speak?

Events that inflame division and create tension should be guarded against and @BrightonHoveCC needs better policies for which events it will host in our council-owned venues. The choice of Brighton was clearly provocative from organisers and the problems caused predictable.
