Strikes aim to increase pay, to retain doctors in the NHS to save your lives. Currently, physician assistants earn 10k more than the doctors that supervise them

2 trainee ACPs literally training on the job to do exactly what I'm doing today as a medical doctor. They couldn't even name the main arteries supplying the brain. Even the qualified ACP had no idea which symptoms/signs corresponded to the different areas of brain involved

@NotDerek666 And what skill is that? The ability to Google? My 8 year old could do that. Also, it's not about memorising, it's a knowledge base which allows critical thinking. Something you seem to lack if you rely on Google, unable to tell if it's answer is correct or not

@ConsUltaNT_ACP Not if you can isolate the potential lesion from history and examination. Many don't need a CT head. This is why waiting lists are so long. Non-medically trained staff have no idea what they're doing so just refer to those that do i.e. a medical doctor
