As I have pointed out, a significant clinical use for (say) misoprostil is counteracting the side-effects of asperin-like drugs. It follows that it is overall less toxic than these drugs. BTW, nothing is "non-toxic" in this world. It all depends on the dose. Stated-simply-- you are antiabortion and your objections have nothing to do with the potential side-effects (or not) of abortion drugs. You are simply inflicting your religious beliefs on people who happen not to hold them. Don't be surprised when these look for work-arounds.

@Dragonfly1776T @hell_line0 And was that for precautionary visits or complication? They are often there for bleeding, cramping, pain, uncertainty, or confirmation that the process is complete. A lot of these things that are also common with pregnancy and even a common miscarriage.

@peterproctor @hell_line0 It’s not about drug toxicity. It’s about the before and after care of abortion. Say only half of the embryo dislodges, which leaves the other half and that can lead to complications.

Simply untrue. BTW, I am a clinical toxicologist. Drug toxicity is my bread and butter. It is true that some people may find the temporary cramping, etc. distressing. Reassurance and "tincture of time" fixes this. One advantage of a local doc is that they can hold your hand and warn you not to stress out. And these drugs are not prohibited. E.g., plenty of people use them for (say) NSAID gastritis.
