The "stray dog" issue sums up India in a nutshell. Parliament should be legislating on this but they want to pass the buck. Courts interfere in the executive domain and pass impractical orders. Municipal corporations are either corrupt or don't have the resources to deal with the problem. Citizen groups are making "moral" arguments as if people in Singapore, Japan or half the world don't have compassion - only they have compassion. The case studies of how others solved for it and what kind of resources it takes - are all accessible to everyone. But a problem that has been "solved" for, by most in the world - will go nowhere in India. Just like many other civic issues - garbage disposal, parking, road construction - it's a long list. The order will be stayed - gyaan will be given - and nothing will change.

Agree. As father of 2 young ones, nothing terrifies me more than watching these videos of kids being attacked. Needs to be dealt with urgently. Hope this is the awakening we needed to fix things around us.

With upto 12 L no tax in new tax regime, out of 145 crores population only around 1 crore will pay income tax from next year. Govt should recognise them by giving priority access in availing any public or Govt services. This will not only give satisfaction to taxpayers but also encourage more people to come in income tax bracket to feel special. Let's make return on income tax great 👍

Absolutely shameless. Today’s flight is also delayed by 7 hours. I reckon it will be much more than that. They are saying 7 cos they don’t want to provide accommodation. Even Turkish ground staff is annoyed with Indigo for doing this repeatedly
