Tomorrow is Apple's ( $AAPL ) 50th birthday. On April 1, 1976, the S&P 500 was at 102 which gave the S&P 500 a TOTAL market cap of $912B, if my math is correct. Apple's current market cap is $3.67T which is 4X the entire S&P 500 back in 1976. That is like a company being started today having a market cap of $3.63 QUADRILLION in 50 years. In today's dollars, that is a company worth $650 Trillion. Those numbers are insane when you think about it right ? Well, I am sure the thought of ONE company being worth $3.67T in 50 years seemed insane in 1976. As the world gets wealthier, the United States will as well. And stock markets should go up EVEN if valuations are insane today as I think they are. Don't try to find the next Apple. Just DCA into low cost ETFs and you will get the next Apple automatically.

@EMPaulG There are thousands of alternatives to Nike. They have no moat. You would be wiser to buy bitcoin or Microstratagy. And I know how you feel about that.

Three questions about $NKE 1.) Do you think #Nike will be around 10, 20, or 30+ years from now? 2.) Do you think their revenue and profit will be GREATER or LOWER in that time period than today? 3.) Do you think today's price gives an above average return on investment based on that future? Below are my 10 year assumptions based on low, middle, and high assumptions. Quite interesting if you ask me. Of course, this is purely my opinion....Interested to hear everyone else's thoughts. #stockmarketcrash

@GrindeOptions Do you realize that $1MM when he was 32 is equal to about $10MM today? I wouldn’t exactly say this as an example of waiting a long time. Even $1MM at age 32 today is very admirable

Keep pushing bro. Warren Buffett was rejected from Harvard and didn’t make his first million until he was 32. Michael Jordan was cut from his high school team. Elon musk lived in a small office and showered at a local YMCA in the early days. Jeff Bezos didn’t become a millionaire until he was 33. Charlie munger didn’t become a millionaire until his early 40s. You got time. Stick to the plan and keep grinding.

I doubt it's for more money necessarily. It's because they are programmed to create more. Which, btw, makes YOUR life better when new technologies come out. When they make products more cost effective for YOU and others to buy. Their "greed" makes your life better. Instead of asking the question you asked, how about saying "I am so glad someone is willing to do what I am not to make everyoone's life better."

How stupid do you have to be to be a socialist? Of course I am (somewhat) joking. Everyone is a product of their environment but I also hear some of the things socialists say and think "What part of history would cause you to think that this will work?" Ah well. We have to swing the pendulum and now is the time for a more extreme left wing view to deviate from the Democratic party. #zohranfornyc

Why is it that women can say if you don’t have a uterus, you can’t have an opinion on abortion? And sooooo many agree with them. But those same women have an opinion on tax rate rates for the wealthy and estate tax rate rates for wealthy families, but they’ve never made enough to put them in the highest tax brackets Do I sense hypocrisy?

99.85% of us are worth less than $50 million. There is no reason the 260,000 households with more than that can't pay a 2% wealth tax. Our tax code has thrown money their way for 40 years. It's time we tax the rich and fund housing, childcare, education & paid leave instead.

Yeah first off, that’s not a secret. Second there is still a difference between Jeff bezos’ life and someone with $2MM or $3MM. But maybe not Jeff Bezos and $500MM. But to say $2MM is the same as Bezos is just insanity. You say time is the currency. When Bezos flies somewhere, he gets there much faster and more comfortable than someone with $2MM. Money gave him more time. If family members get sick, the care he can get with his money is better than someone with $2MM. I know you did this for clicks and comments, so luckily you triggered me to respond to ignorant posts but people who say this kind of stuff just make me lol and say “you don’t understand finance and life then”

I have a secret to share After your first $2–$3 million, a paid off home and a good car, there is no difference in quality of life between you and Jeff Bezos. Both of you have limited amount of time on earth; you have twice if not more than Jeff, so you are richer than him. A cheeseburger is a cheeseburger whether a billionaire eats or you do. Money is nothing but a piece of paper or a number in your app. Real life is outdoors. Become financially independent; that’s usually 2–3mil. Have good food. Enjoy the relations. Workout. Sleep well. Call your parents. That’s all there is to life. Greed has no end. Repeat after me: Time is the currency of life. Money is not. Sooner you figure this out, happier you will be.
