My sister Arwen passed away suddenly yesterday. She was only 10 years old. But she was incredibly smart. She had motivation, drive, and a lot of good friends. She adored Pokémon and Axolotls. She was a very fun person to be around. I love you Arwen. You will be missed.

Attempted to hook slice the Grinnel, KS 5/18/25 supercell to get out ahead of the tornado only to watch it emerge from the murk to my direct south. Slammed it into reverse and then watched a house get shredded in front of me. Red car is me, lost footage to a double tap.

All-time record heat is coming for Montana, with Billings forecast to reach 111F. Billings has never even reached 110F in documented history. In fact, their current all-time record is 108F. Quite the heatwave coming.

@CameronJNixon Weird that northern MN has a lot of green compared to like Dixie. There are so many trees and lakes it hard to see what your chasing.

While we're told to report what we see. This is definitely a funnel cloud. Do we see ground circulation? No. But the funnel is definitely more the 3/4th of the way to the ground. It was observed for 15 mins. A persistent funnel extended over 1/2 to the ground for 15 mins. Tor.

At ~5 PM on July 4th, a funnel cloud was spotted south of Alpine Creek Lodge along the Denali Highway between Paxson/Cantwell. Since this occurred in NWS Anchorage's area, here's how they determined it was a funnel cloud. Thanks to everyone who shared their photos/videos! #akwx
