@UB1UB2 Great idea why should people in Hillingdon have to have their council taxes going up to pay for more people to reload? Move them to cheaper places best idea ever

Hillingdon Council and other London local authorities are routinely using an unfair housing rule to deem vulnerable people “intentionally homeless” if they refuse to relocate massive distances. Due to the severe local housing shortage, councils are regularly moving Londoners to temporary accommodation in places like Birmingham, Manchester, Newcastle, and Middlesbrough.

Jews don’t try to proselytize anyone. Muslims try to proselytize everyone (In Islam, we are only allowed to give the message, can’t force anyone to accept it. If what we believe is truth then it is dishonest to not want the same for others) Jews are happy having one country. Muslims want every country. (Lie, z!onists have occupied one and r acting to spread according to their scriptures in the name of Greater Israel) Jews assimilate well with other cultures. Muslims don’t assimilate well with anyone (Another lie, orthodox jews don’t leave their culture/religion to assimilate, kosher is just one example. Yes z!0nists don’t follow judaism n do any evil act for acceptance). Jews have never taken over a country. Muslims have taken over many countries (Lie - check the above answer). Jews can co-exist with other races and religions and live harmoniously together. Muslims fight and try to conquer whoever they live with. (Lie - Jews have lived with muslims under islamic rulers for years) Jews don’t stop traffic to pray. Muslims stop traffic to pray. (With proper govt rules, the traffic is properly managed during the 5 minute prayer, only happens in Friday) Jews defend. Muslims attack. (Lie- Israheeel has been b0mb!ng, k!lling civilians for decades) Jews accept the rules and the laws of the countries they live in. Muslims don’t believe they have to follow the rules and the laws of the countries they live in. (Good joke - Jews literally occupied a land, they k!lled their own prophets in the past) Jews contribute to the building of Western civilization. Muslims want to conquer Western civilization. (There r millions of muslims working in the west, even after their own countries have been destroyed by the US/Israh!!l) Jews cherish their life. Muslims cherish their after-life (100s of videos on social media where young, old z!onists r cherishing that the bab!es r k!lled in Palestine n that they deserve all of it)

This Labour government is freezing rail fares for the first time in 30 years. We know people are struggling with the cost of living, so we've stepped in to save millions of passengers real cash. We are building a railway you can be proud of and rely on. lbc.co.uk/article/rail-f…

I’m completely stranded at Moscow airport… alone, helpless, and running out of hope. No one from @makemytripcare or @etihad is answering my desperate messages. Russia doesn’t accept Visa or Mastercard anymore. I have ZERO cash left. Not even for food or water. The Etihad ground staff is avoiding me more than my ex ever did — literally turning their faces away and telling me “just call customer care”… which has been busy for hours. I’m standing here like a beggar in my own nightmare. I don’t know how I’m going to get home. I’m scared. I feel abandoned by the very companies I trusted with my journey. My family is waiting and I can’t even tell them I’m safe. Please… if anyone from Etihad, MakeMyTrip, or even the Indian embassy sees this — HELP ME. And if you’re reading this, just one RT could save me. I’m begging. #StrandedInMoscow

Hide them in cemeteries, and cry foul when the cemeteries are destroyed! After taking multiple bodies of deceased Israelis into Gaza following its horrendous October 7th attack, Hamas made the atrocious and despicable decision to hide dozens of them in Palestinian cemeteries in the coastal enclave, particularly in the north. This was immediately picked up by Israeli intelligence and turned what should be the spiritual resting place of the dead into another battlefield of the horrific war that ensued. The IDF, either deliberately, recklessly, due to bad intelligence, or operating with little to no information, went into multiple cemeteries and destroyed them while searching for bodies and remains of deceased Israeli hostages. This included the Al-Falluja Cemetery in Jabalya, northern Gaza, where my dad, Dr. Fouad Alkhatib, was buried – his grave is among those that were desecrated and destroyed by the IDF, ostensibly while searching for the remains of Israeli hostages. Still, there’s immense irony, symbolism, and meaning to having the body of the last Israeli hostage recovered from a Palestinian cemetery. Who is responsible for placing it there and inviting the devastation of the cemetery? Why did Hamas and PIJ think it was acceptable to place dead Israelis in a sacred space that meant so much for hundreds of thousands of Palestinians? Can dead Palestinians be spared from Hamas’s terrorism? How could two extremist Islamofascist groups tolerate burying a non-Muslim in the heart of a Muslim graveyard, which is governed by strict Sharia rules and requirements? You can criticize Israel all you want, and hundreds of millions have been for the past two years. But at the end of the day, there is only one, and just a singular party upon which the blame falls squarely for bringing Israeli military occupation and devastation onto Gaza; only one party that permitted itself to operate in schools, hospitals, shelters, tents, displacement zones, used mosques, cemeteries, kindergartens, markets, NGOs, journalists, ambulances, and humanitarian workers to conduct guerilla warfare – and that is Hamas. That is why it is criminal even to contemplate going easy on the terror group and allowing them the opportunity to be recycled into Gaza’s future. Hamas as a brand must be eliminated, destroyed, annihilated, and prevented from ever operating as a cohesive body, even if its ideology remains, and even if some of its mid and lower-level personnel are somehow rehabilitated.

SICK of repeating this but I’m so DONE with the “free money, free phones” narrative that asylum seekers/refugees get. This is the truth. Asylum seekers can’t claim benefits. You need an NI number to do that. Asylum seekers aren’t staying in 5* hotels. Asylum seekers get £49.18p a week to live on. Could YOU live on that? NOPE. So stop pretending they’re here living it large.

Had lunch with an old university friend today He moved to San Francisco five years ago to "build a startup" First thing he said "we raised $10 million from VCs" "And how much profit did you make last year?" I asked "Oh we are not profitable yet" I put down my fork "So you have no revenue?" I asked "Well, we do have revenue, just no profits yet" I had to take a breath. Clearly America made him dumb "How can you have revenue when you are unprofitable? Revenue is profit, money is money!" I screamed at him "But revenue is not a prof-" I stood up and left I wanted to scream. American propaganda has rotted his brain His company is bankrupt and he doesn't even know it I called his mother that evening. She deserved to know the truth Her son is another victim of an American capitalist virus

The white flight happened because people didn't want to live in shitholes with crime and degenerate behaviour. People can't blame others for doing that. Now those who moved to areas like Romford and being replaced and having to move further afield. People just want to live in a nice area. We are being replaced.

For those sick and tired of Thatcherite (neoliberal) fantasies about us all being 'better off these days', here are a few indisputable facts. I'll keep this as short and simple as possible - sorry about the 'averages', but there's a brief disaggregation below. In the 1970s, despite the supply-driven stagflation, ordinary people had far more disposable income compared to their living costs. House prices were about 4 times the average yearly wage. Whole families could be raised on one wage while wages tracked - tracked, not caused - inflation. Employment was high and the welfare safety net and public services were robust. Benefits were closer to the average wage and covered all basic living costs. Food banks were virtually non-existent. Overall, our society was robust enough to cushion the income-shock. 46 years of Thatcherism implemented by all parties led us by the nose into global neoliberalism's financial crisis in 2008. Our financialised, deindustrialised, hollowed-out societies were kept bobbling around on an air cushion of mounting private debt that eventually, for too many people, became unpayable. The bonuses of bankers who caused this disaster were hardly affected, which prompted some critics to say this is just the system working normally. What the rest of us got, post-crash austerity, has led us into a disastrous situation. The current cost of living and asset crises have left people with an average 5.4% drop in disposable income, the steepest decline on the record that began in the post-war austerity of the 1950s. The bottom percentile lost 10% of their purchasing power. House prices were inflated from the 1980s, due mainly to irresponsible lending. Average mortgages and rents are 8 times yearly salaries. Real wages have been stagnant following the 2008 crisis while de-unionisation and weak contracts have all but collapsed wage bargaining. Most young people are locked out of inflated asset wealth and lifetime earning potential - the first modern cohort to be in that unenviable position. Older generations have benefitted from asset inflation while wealthier households have been insulated. If we disaggregate this simply, the young and the poor have been hit catastrophically. 22% of the population are in deep, objectively calculated poverty. 29% of children live in relative poverty. Many locales are virtually derelict. Food banks are handing out 3 million parcels per annum. Work in the 'gig economy' is precarious and unreliable. Universal credit is historically low compared to living costs. High energy, food and housing prices and a severely weakened welfare state, which today's ghoulish politicians want to weaken further, have created severe hardship amongst the lowest income decile, way worse than the 1970s. This is a highly unstable, politically volatile situation, as we have seen with the return of national populism. Neoliberalism has been a disaster. Anyone who disputes this is fantasising or deliberately lying.

I was just intimidated by this man in a mask who stood in front of my turnstile before I tapped in so he could squeeze through for free. I stood there looking at him, refusing to leave. He started gesticulating at them, telling me I should let him in. Eventually he just shoved his way through a normal barrier. Staff carried on chatting and did nothing. @TfL This country doesn’t feel fair or polite anymore.
