@eri89494 @GlendaAllene @MekunSurfs My point exactly. How do you determine what books are and aren’t scripture and did God say scripture would cease? No. Scripture continued after Christ and continues today through prophets and apostles.

@Mukelei2 @DrFrankTurek That’s fine. You put your faith in man made creeds that defined the trinity. I put my faith in the word. Jesus took on flesh to do not his will but the will of his Father. Jesus is the only begotten son of the Father. 2 persons same goal. The Bible is clear on this.

@ElderChases @DrFrankTurek The trinity is central to Christianity. If you don’t believe in the trinity, you are literally not Christian.

Charles Anthon contradicts himself, proving that he, Anthon, was a liar. 1834 letter (to E.D. Howe): Anthon explicitly stated that Harris “requested an opinion from me in writing, which of course I declined giving.” 1841 letter (to Rev. T.W. Coit): Anthon stated the opposite — that Harris “requested me to give him my opinion in writing about the paper which he had shown to me. I did so without hesitation.”

Have you guys read the letter Charles Anton wrote after Martin Harris visited him and asked him about the validity of the Egyptian characters that Joseph Smith wrote down to get validated? Lol the letter is absolutely hilarious. He said the paper contained anything else but "Egyptian hieroglyphics". This is what he also said, "and evidently copied after the Mexican calendar given by Humboldt but copied in such a way as not to betray the source wence it was derived". archive.org/details/mormon…

@MekunSurfs @DrFrankTurek Which Bible is scripture? Protestant Bible, Catholic Bible? Why does the Bible reference many prophetic writings that aren’t contained in the Bible? Enoch, book of Nathan the prophet, Gad, etc.

@ElderChases @DrFrankTurek BOM, the pearl of great price and Doctrine and Covenants are not divinely inspired. Only the bible is the word of God. Those books are fiction.

@surskitmaxxing @ThoughtfulSaint It’s a byproduct of our history and the bigotry that we continue to experience to say. We were driven from our homes, murdered, continue to receive hate from other Christian faiths. So we point to research to counter the false attacks so many place on us.

@MekunSurfs @DrFrankTurek Mormons are creedal? Lmao… Ok buddy… I believe in living oracles and continual scripture. You believe in a God who is without parts or passions and created people knowing they’d be damned.

Martin Harris, after learning from Charles Anthon that the whole thing was a scam, did what any perfectly sane person would do: dedicated himself more fully to Joseph Smith, mortgaged his farm to pay for the printing of the Book of Mormon, and risked destroying his marriage, his family, and his reputation with his neighbors

“Come, learn the doctrine of the priesthood; come, live as befits one who is a servant of the Lord.” Elder Bruce R. McConkie gave us one of the most elaborate explanations of the doctrine of the Priesthood. Every Priesthood holder should take a listen:

This never makes it into American history textbooks: Latter-day Saints were violently expelled from Missouri in the 1830s. Why? A key reason was their opposition to slavery.

For 160 years, "Nahom" in the Book of Mormon was a name that didn't exist anywhere on Earth. Joseph Smith dictated it in 1829 — the desert place where Ishmael was buried in 1 Nephi 16:34. The text uses the passive: "the place which was CALLED Nahom." Lehi (a prophet in the BofM) didn't name it. It was already there. In 1988, German archaeologists excavating the Bar'an Temple at Marib in Yemen recovered three votive altars donated by men of the NHM tribe — dated to the 7th–6th centuries BC. Same name. Same century. Same region. In Hebrew, NHM means "to comfort." In Arabic, NHM means "to mourn." Both meanings collapse onto the very moment a father-in-law was buried in the wilderness. How could a 23-year-old farmboy in upstate New York have named an Arabian tribal burial ground in 1829 that wasn't excavated until 1988?

@CherylSchatz @CodyTheSuperman @DrFrankTurek Jesus is the “eternal God” as it states in the original 1829 Book of Mormon introduction. Jesus is the God of the Old Testament. He is the only begotten of the Father and took on flesh. He was resurrected and has a glorified physical body. This is what we believe as LDS.

If their church is built on a lie and deception by Joseph Smith then their church is not based on Jesus but a con man. How can they expect to be saved when they follow a false doctrine? (Narrow is the gate) I dont want anyone one to go to hell but you cant believe a false doctrine and claim heaven. Mormons are on a march to appear to be christian and more christian than Christians.

@DrFrankTurek There is only one way to have forgiveness of our sins and to have eternal life. It’s by accepting Jesus as the Messiah, the One who went to the cross and paid for our sins. Our lives will show whether or not we are really ‘born-again’.

@Mukelei2 @DrFrankTurek Cause the trinity isn’t biblical. Was never taught in the Bible. The whole concept of the trinity was created 100s of years after Christ by government run creeds. Read your Bible and reject creeds that aren’t scripture.

@DrFrankTurek The answer is no, Frank. Why are you tiptoeing around it? LDS is a cult, so far gone from our Christian faith. They don’t even believe in the trinity. How can they possibly go to heaven???
