Good people sometimes do bad things. Bad people sometimes do good things. One of life's challenges is to navigate this world trying to make the right decisions — to do good things. Look ahead, know that you won't always make the right decision, but keep on trying to do good things.

The ICRC repeatedly stated that it sought access to the hostages throughout their captivity and publicly called for their release and humane treatment. It cannot compel access or enter territory without the consent of the party holding the hostages. It is a neutral humanitarian organization, not a military force. During the releases, it provided immediate humanitarian and medical support before transferring the hostages to Israeli authorities. Claiming the ICRC simply asked once and gave up is not supported by the available evidence.

WE ALL HAD THE SAME QUESTION FOR THE RED CROSS Rimon Kirsht shares today in an interview on her release from 53 days in Gaza captivity, that the first thing she said when seeing the Red Cross representative was (please excuse the language): "where the f*** were you?????" I don't think anyone has a good answer to that question. The Red Cross must be held accountable for it's abandonment and betrayal of the hostages in Gaza.

אמרתי לנציגת הצלב האדום 'Where the fuck were you?'״ >>

Bernie Sanders got an $800k book advance. He used that money to buy a third home. The Vermont Food Bank says 2 in 5 Vermonters suffer food insecurity. Sanders’ book advance could have provided 3,000,000 meals. Bernie Sanders’ greed is *literally* starving children in Vermont.

Sergey Brin is worth $276 billion. He could save healthcare for 3 million people. Instead, he’s spending $82 million against California’s 5% billionaire wealth tax. He’d rather see low-income Americans die & suffer than pay his fair share of taxes. That is a moral obscenity.

This is what Hamas did to our people: Hamas captivity survivor Rimon Buchshtab-Kirsht breaks down in an interview she gave this evening to N12 News as she describes the hell she and her husband, The late Yagev Buchshtab, endured in Hamas captivity and the unbearable reality that he was murdered there. Rimon speaks about the people she knew in captivity who never came home. About watching one person after another disappear. About the crushing survivor’s guilt she still carries. You can see that a part of her remains trapped in that hell. Hamas did not merely abduct human beings. It caged them, tortured them, starved them, degraded them and systematically broke their bodies and souls. Then it murdered many of them and left the survivors to live with wounds the world cannot see. Look at Rimon as she speaks. Look at her pain. This is what Hamas did. Do not sanitize it. Do not excuse it. Do not ever call it “resistance. @michalpeylan

All these institutions, created to advance humanity, have become deeply corrupt. Instead of serving the public interest, many have evolved into vehicles for individuals to acquire prestige, influence, and highly paid positions funded by taxpayers across member nations. To make matters worse, these roles often come with privileges such as tax-exempt status as international civil servants, further distancing their occupants from the citizens who ultimately finance them.

The Irish have completely lost their minds over Jews and Israel. Everything they believe about Israel is false. They endlessly parrot the genocide and apartheid lies, and with such certainty and ferocity, when they know absolutely nothing about the conflict or the region. It is wilful gross ignorance at this point, and a severe mental illness. No doubt about it.

That doesn't excuse their comparative inaction. Were there sustained campaigns for access to the hostages? No. Did they actually do anything? We don't know because they won't tell us. If they asked once for access and were refused, they should have not stopped there. They should have asked again. And again. And again. They should have pressured Hamas, repeatedly - in Gaza and externally. They did the absolute minimum and then, to add insult to injury, they joined in the bizarre hostage release ceremonies. The @ICRC is a piece of antisemitic shit that is not fit for purpose.

The Red Cross’ access to the hostages depended entirely on Hamas. As a neutral humanitarian organization, it could not simply enter detention sites or conflict zones without the consent of the party controlling them. Demonizing the Red Cross for failing to reach the hostages ignores that reality. It is not a military force with the authority or capability to compel access where it is denied.

@RabbiPoupko Thanks for the post Rabbi. Out of all the moral failures after October 7, the behavior of the red cross was (and still is) among the worst. They should be tried as war criminals.

@AsaWinstanley King David is widely considered by historians and archaeologists to be a real historical figure and Herzog comes from a family of rabbis so hardly secular. Everything you said is a lie... but you already knew that.

If Trump wishes to really show Mamdani his place, he should have Mamdani drive Bibi in a limo through the streets of New York, proclaiming before him, "This is what is done for the man the president delights to honor!"
