@PhilBlundell Exactly. He can't be blamed for Isak coming late, then getting injured *and then* the knock-on of Ekiteke being knackered by February. There's so many things gone against him (not taking chances) that its basically impossible to judge his job.

@Elpapey I think you could put an established excellent coach in this and they’d struggle. Reality is he probably needed to rip everything up and build in Autumn. But Isak’s fitness meant he couldn’t, and Salah’s rep means you couldn’t just toss him aside early.

Don’t think this is far wrong, up to a point. Am I the only one who has no real handle of whether he’s brilliant, bad or anything in between? Last season I don’t think it was down to amazing coaching, in the same way I don’t think this season is down to terrible coaching.

@PhilBlundell Agree. The criticism has gone way over the top, a lot of it is absoluetly out of his hands. But, ultimately, I don't know if he's good but with his hands tied (no pace in the team, unbalanced signings, Salah, Jota's death...) or average and no real idea how to fix it.

This isn’t saying, give the manager a new deal, or sack him, or anything of that ilk. I think he’ll leave. And when he does I think I will quite probably have absolutely no idea how good or bad he is. I think I’ve likely seen 0 games of his ideology since he came.

99% of Liverpool fans are E-Reds. Without E-Reds there is no FSG, Salah, VVD, Isak, Wirtz and other super stars. Without E-Reds there is no Anfield expansion and cheaper Anfield tickets. This is not 1982. In today’s football industry E-Reds are commercial revenue and viewership.
