1st AMO WH-47 “Hurricane” delivered! Earlier today Air and Marine Operations took delivery of the world’s first WH-47 helicopter. The WH-47 is classified as a Water Helicopter capable of landing on land or water. This new multi-variant platform will greatly increase operational control at sea by combining air and marine assets into a single platform that can detect, intercept, and transport rapidly. 5 more WH-47s are planned to be fielded by lunch today. #AprilFools
