Saylor should crush MSTR short sellers by issuing a Dynamic Short-Penalty Preferred stock, or something like it, whose dividend yield automatically escalates with reported short interest, channeling every dollar raised into Bitcoin purchases and common-share buybacks so that the bears' own aggression becomes self-defeating fuel that exponentially raises their costs, squeezes their positions, and turbocharges MSTR's leveraged Bitcoin treasury advantage.

Whenever I'm at Manchester Airport, I always pop to The Raddison if I need a poo. The toilets are much nicer than the airport ones. And there's a free coffee machine if you know where to look.

I've seen a few posts on here saying we should be more sympathetic towards Carla Denyer MP who's taking some time off because she's suffering from burn out. While I feel sorry for her, because I know what it's like, and I wouldn't wish illness on anyone, I'll ask these questions: Where was her, and other MPs', sympathy for me when I suffered burn out at the age of 62 when I was working 17 hour days because of Rishi Sunak's Stamp Duty holiday, and caring for my stepfather who had dementia at the same time? Where was my paid leave? Where was their sympathy towards the carpet fitter or plumber who can barely get up or down anymore because they've been waiting for a knee operation for a year. And as they're self employed, if they don't work they don't get paid? Where was their sympathy for the single dad whose child has chickenpox and needs to take 2 weeks off work but statutory sick pay doesn't even cover his mortgage, let alone his other bills? Come on, where was their sympathy then? Don't kid yourselves. These MPs don't care about us or this country. They care about themselves, their £95,000+ salaries, their expenses, their gold plated pensions, their ability to have time off on a whim knowing they won't suffer financially for doing so. So excuse me. I won't feel too sorry for Carla Denyer. Who, by the way, was so overworked, she managed to do a series of celebrity University Challenge. And especially when these people don't give a tinker's cuss about us.

Morrisons just said the quiet part out loud. Around 100 convenience stores are now on the chopping block. Hundreds of jobs are at risk. And the reason given is not “greedy supermarkets”, not “corporate profiteering”, not “Tory austerity”, not any of the slogans Labour spent years throwing around. It is “significant cost increases resulting from Government policy choices”. That is corporate-speak for: Labour made it more expensive to employ people, more expensive to operate, and harder to keep marginal stores alive. This is the basic economic reality the Government pretends does not exist. You can raise employer costs and call it “fairness”. You can increase wage mandates and call it “growth”. You can load more regulation onto businesses and call it “responsibility”. You can demand lower prices at the till while making every input cost higher behind the scenes. But eventually the spreadsheet wins. And when the spreadsheet wins, shops close. Not the imaginary shops in a Treasury forecast. Real ones. Local ones. The ones people use for milk, bread, prescriptions, newspapers, top-up groceries and last-minute essentials. The ones staffed by people who do not have the luxury of working from home while lecturing everyone else about “resilience”. This is the part Labour never wants to own. Their policies are always sold as compassion. But the consequences are brutally practical. A store that was just about viable becomes loss-making. A worker who was just about employed becomes “at risk”. A community that had a local shop now has an empty unit with metal shutters. And then ministers will stand up and blame “global pressures”, “market conditions”, “corporate decisions” or “the legacy we inherited”. NO. Morrisons has named the problem directly: government policy choices. That phrase matters. Because it means this was not inevitable. It was chosen.

I am absolutely appalled by the decision of the new Reform UK administration at @Essex_CC removing the Ukrainian flag that has flown in support since the start of the war. Disgusting behaviour! As suspected proves they are Putin sympathisers! bbc.co.uk/news/articles/…

I appreciate that many people will understandably be frightened by what they are seeing at the Unite the Kingdom demonstration today. The right to protest is fundamental. But it can’t be a cover for inciting hatred. We must stand against attempts to inflame and divide us.

It’s as though Keir Starmer is on a suicide mission as Prime Minister at this point. How did this divisive and dishonest tactic work after Southport? He has done nothing to stop the small boats, nothing to ban Iran’s terror fronts in the UK and now makes his stand on this?
Keir Starmer@Keir_Starmer

I’ll always champion peaceful protest. But the Unite the Kingdom march organisers are peddling hatred and division. We’ve already blocked visas for far-right agitators who want to come here to spew their extremist views. They don't speak for the decent, fair, respectful Britain I know.
